My husband put together in a day by himself. He's very handy and was a pain stretching the chicken wire on but he was able to do it. If not handy or much of a do it yourselves recommend help. Ive had it for almost a year and ur has held up nicely in Northern Nevada wind, snow, rain and sun. Highly recommend throwing zip ties away and using wire. The ties ended up dry rotting one by one and most have been replaced with wire@

This has to be close to the worst piece of garbage to have ever been sold on Amazon!!! Do not buy this product, I cannot stress this enough! The frame goes together easily enough, but that is where the tolerable stops and the absolute hell begins. For some reason, the chicken wire is only about three feet wide, while the posts and bows are about 5 or 6 feet apart, meaning you have to somehow splice the wire. There is nothing in the instructions on how this is to be done, although I assume we’re supposed to use zip ties. They send about a thousand of these zip ties, but there are still somehow not enough! They also don’t send enough chicken wire to complete the job, so be prepared to make a run to the hardware store for more wire. I have previously assembled one of these cages with a peaked roof and that one went together pretty well. The wire on that one was wide enough to span from one post to the next, and that thing looks pretty good, so I had high hopes for this one. Those hopes were quickly shattered, as one hour after another dragged by. It took my wife and me plus our 3 teenage sons around 9 hours to put this piece of garbage together. And it looks like, well, chicken crap! This is largely due to the radius roof where it’s nearly impossible to pull the wire over in a tight and neat fashion. Especially with the wire splice in the middle. It’s really an embarrassment to my little farm. Sell your chickens, put them in a soup, leave them to suffer in the weather and let the wild beasts have at them, but do not ever, EVER, consider buying this piece of crap!!

This thing worked out perfectly. I didn’t want to build a whole chain link fence to the dimensions I wanted. It was too expensive and too time consuming. Just don’t follow the instructions on how to wrap the wire! I bought two and the second one came out better than the first. We wrapped it all around and zip tied it to the top and bottom and kept long wrapping it. The instructions say to take the wire and wrap it up and over the dome. We are using it as dog and cat enclosures. We added a UV rated mesh tarp around it and hardware mesh cloth. Mostly 1/4 inch. This was to keep coyotes and stray dogs out of our cat enclosure, and kept our dogs in on the other. Sure it isn’t the sturdiest, but it’s so simple to find ways to make it sturdy. We are going to drill brackets into the indoor doggy/cat house sheds and we used 6 inch deep nails to secure the base to the ground. Just be creative and you’ll still save money in the long run from getting an actual enclosed fenced area. I’ll update with a photo in a couple days!

If i could give this negative stars i would. Do NOT buy the dome roof one. The wire it comes with isnt wide enough to reach between supports, so it sags in the middle on each side of the roof, regardless of how many zip ties you use. And the zip ties, they snap almost every time you pull them to tighten, so those are a POC too. Had to buy a 1000 pack of better ties for $50, and 2 rolls of different wire for 95 ea. The only thing usable in this kit is the metal frame, and even thats crappy. Seller wouldnt even give a partial refund, and i was unable to return bc im in the middle of moving and needed something quick to put the birds in (which this wasnt btw, after all the work we had to put in). OH and even if you do return it, you have to pay to ship it back too. This product is complete garbage.

this is pretty nice frame for whatever you decide to use it for. me, I used it for a shade house for plants. the negative reviews about it failing under snow load are unreasonable. this is a great frame for the price. 3.5-4 stars. fell short of 5 stars: I was a few self tapping screws short to get all the corner bracing installed. it should have included at least one more center upright support. other than those two points I'm very happy with what I received
