This was a great purchase and not too hard to put together. The zip ties are not very durable for out florida sun so we used better ones to attach the netting. We also rigged our kennel to attach to the cage and with a few modifications, we have a back door next to the kennel.     • Worst Instructions EVER!
Entire structure Collapsed under snowfall, chickens were saved by their coop. GOOD Luck trying to put this thing together, it took me 5 hours just to put the frame together--not including netting. The instructions are absolutely horrible! there are no instructions on how to properly assemble the door portion--completely omitted from the manual. Basically trial an error till you get it right. The metal netting comes in a big roll and you are expected to cut it to size using narrow strips, and you are provided with really CHEAP zip ties that break constantly when you secure it. The whole structure is really flimsy and wobbly. Total piece of imported Junk! ... show more

Like the ease of construction and instructions. I thought I was missing a piece (I had it so thats on me) and messaged the company. I sent my email after business hours, but they emailed me back within a couple of hours. I greatly appreciated that. Some of the pieces had a small dent at the end. So I had to use my hammer to make a small dent in the pieces going inside the dented pieces. There was also one of the metal rings on the covering canvas that was super squished/dented. I think this might have been more of a shipping problem? The package wasn't damaged, but that doesn't mean delivery didn't drop it. The only thing I really don't like is the door frame and door. The joints are really insecure and not sturdy. If you're rough adding wire netting they will shift and might come out of pipes. I'm thinking I might just put on some e6000 on them to keep them more secure. The hinges are super hard to put on. Be prepared to wrench them with all your strength to keep them from losing grip and mess up hinge straightness. Also hate the door latches. Extremely insecure. I need to get different latches. These wouldn't keep anything like a racoon out for sure. Like it overall, but definitely some failings of door area for sure. Would be great for someone not worried about animals breaking in for sure. If worried about animal break ins then realize you might need adjustments. ... show more

Great for garden. Easy set up for frame. As for netting, they give a good amount of excess in case screw up. I did not like the directions for cutting the netting so I went with personal feeling and measurements. For most part one person can do it solo. Found it needed three people to attach the pitch frame of the roof. As for netting I is as able to do it by myself except for the ends. I used mine for garden and built beds into it and drilled holes in to better secure it. Even with drilling and netting, the frame does seem a little wobbly so I’m not sure how it will hold up for chickens. In terms of spacing, my mom now wants one for the dogs or a kid play area since it fully contained. I really enjoy this purchase and added a few packets of additional zip ties so every inch is well secured. But again, I netted the thing differently from the instruction manual so the huge handful of ties this kit provided should be enough. As for chickens, this would be ideal unit. Just not sure of security from wild animals. But all in all, I enjoy it. ... show more
