Review Image by Amy Koepke
Nice and big. I’ve being doing chickens for a while and never got one cause the reviews show similar ones looking small. Quality is good - nothing to compare it to but it works. Remote works. Light sensor for shutting on and off with the sun works much better than I’d of thought. Internal battery lasts a long time. Price at time of purchase was 39.99 which was comparably the lowest. Will likely buy another! ... show more

    • Makes chicken chores easier and more reliable
I installed this automatic door on my coop in about 20 minutes using the included screws, and it lined up cleanly with standard framing without needing weird modifications. The solar panel and built-in battery have kept it running so far without me touching it, even after cloudy days, and the motor is quiet enough that it does not spook the birds. I set mine on a timed schedule so it opens just after sunrise and closes after dark, and it has been consistent, which makes locking up less of a guessing game. The anti-pinch safety gives me some peace of mind with slower hens, and I like having the remote and manual buttons as a backup when I want to override the light sensor. The one catch is you do need a flat, solid mounting surface and a few minutes to learn the modes, but once it is dialed in, it does exactly what I wanted without daily fiddling. ... show more

    • Excellent protection and super easy setup!
Review Image by Samantha
I’ve had a few chickens eaten before, and honestly, this is the only thing that has truly helped. The automatic door works perfectly and gives me peace of mind at night. The setup instructions are in English and super simple to follow. The price is ridiculously great for what you get! Pros: • Keeps chickens safe from predators • Easy setup with clear English instructions • Works reliably • Amazing price for the quality Cons: • None so far! I’ll update as I see how it holds up ... show more

    • Timer and Remote Make It Easier Than Expected
What I liked most is that it lets you program your own open and close times. I set mine to open at 6 AM and close at 8 PM, and it follows that every day like clockwork. The remote adds another level of convenience—if I want to check or close it early, I can just do it from the porch. It’s a solid piece of equipment made from metal and ABS that feels weather-resistant. The solar panel keeps it running without plugging it in, and even when it rains, it continues without trouble. I can tell my flock is more relaxed now that they have a consistent routine. ... show more

    • Simple Setup, Big Relief for Daily Chicken Care
I got this automatic coop door mainly to stop waking up at dawn just to open the chicken pen. The setup was straightforward enough with the screws included, and once I set it up, it started doing the job right away. The light sensor opens the door around sunrise and closes it once it’s dark, which means no more worrying about forgetting. It’s powered by solar energy and also holds a charge, so it keeps working even when it’s cloudy. The size fits my hens perfectly, and the whole frame feels sturdy enough for long use. ... show more
