  • Short and Long Review (This is the best water filter for its price)
Style: TheWell+Minerals
Short Review: If you are accustomed to waiting for filters like the Zero Water or Brita filters, then this will provide cleaner, better tasting, and healthier water much faster. The machine purifies and mineralizes water "on-demand" as a rate that I would describe as roughly 1 STANDARD DRINKING GLASS OF WATER IN A MINUTE. This is a gross generalization as glasses vary, but its fast if you're used to Zero Water. Long Review: To start off, I want to cover where I'm coming from and how I use this device. I live in a state that is known for its poor tap water quality (There is an ongoing class action lawsuit regarding the absurdly high levels of PFAS chemicals in our water and the cancers residents have developed as a result). BACKGROUND ON ME: My family had gone from Brita to Zero Water because Brita's do close to nothing to clean/purify water of microscopic contaminants, microplastics, or PFAS chemicals. Zero Water always had a "funky" taste to it that we all found unappealing and the rate of flow was unbearably slow; however, the alternative filter options we found were quite costly or required modification to our home water system. (I won't get into the filters we put on our showers and sinks) I found the Lang filter while researching multistage water filters and this checked all the boxes with the added benefit of re-mineralizing the water once its been completely purified of everything besides H2O. The flavor profile of the water is similar to the spring water I had during my time in Italy and I find myself drinking more frequently as a result of how quickly the water is dispensed. I'm not going to say that it filters water as fast as turning on the faucet, but compared to the inconvenience of waiting for almost 20 minutes for other filters, this is ideal for my forgetful family. CLEANING: The machine boasts an absurdly long lifetime on their filters (nearly 2 years) and after cutting their filters in half our of curiosity, that claim is 100% true. The machine will routinely clean itself by hot flushing the filters and clearing any buildup from the filters. Every 6 months or so (for our heavily contaminated tap water) it will notify us that it needs to be descaled. This just means you need to remove the two filters and put in the pass throughs that are included with the system and fill the reservoir with a natural descaling agent like vinegar and let it cycle through. To summarize, the machine cleans itself to extend the life of its filters and save YOU money. EASE OF USE: It is a simple out of the box solution that I genuinely love. I've gifted them to my relatives and friends. There are options to customize mineral level, water temperature (for hot water setting), and automatic shut off. The automatic shut off is important because the reservoir can hold slightly more water than the basin can and will often overflow if you leave it unchecked. You can change the settings around to make sure its dialed in to the exact amount you need, but I found it odd that it didn't come preset to their factory basin. Oh well... It's a quick fix and I'm just splitting hairs at this point. Summary: If my 94 year old grandfather can use this without opening the instruction manual, then you're going to be just fine. CONCLUSION: This is by far the best home water filter I've ever seen/tried. It's paid for itself 7.5 times over as of my time of posting this review. The health benefits of the mineralized water compared to pure water or half-filtered garbage Brita water are like night and day. I could spend all day talking about this thing and I'm not really a health conscious person. I just care about my family and I appreciate the thought that went into this product. To you folks at Lang, thank you for thinking about your customers. This is such a cheap solution that literally helps to save our lives. To everyone else, give this a try. ... show more

Why is there an option to buy this without the minerals? Why couldn't you include the minerals if it REQUIRED.

  • Love this water filter
Style: TheWell+Minerals
The water comes out tasting amazing. It remineralizes. The cost of the flavors and the minerals is a little high and worse you have no choice but to pay high shipping on them increasing the cost by 25%. You can use it without the flavors but the minerals cannot be bypassed. It requires a lot of maintenance and is slow. I like that it cleans regularly, but the hot water cleaning process is timely and is every day. It does not hold very much water and frequently has to be dumped and refilled to finish the process because it says high TDS. I do love the water output quality but the hassle, space occupation, and cost of continued use makes it a questionable buy. ... show more

  • Amazing product! I highly recommend to everyone!
Style: TheWell+Minerals
I recently purchased the Langwater water filtration system, and it's been a game changer for my household. This device has exceeded my expectations in terms of both performance and convenience. The sleek design fits seamlessly on my countertop, and it doesn't take up much space. The user friendly manual made the setup process straightforward, even for someone like me who's not particularly handy. But what really sets this filtration system apart is its impressive ability to purify water. Living in an area with varying water quality, I was concerned about contaminants affecting the taste and safety of our drinking water. The langwater system has proven itself by effectively removing impurities and providing water that tastes noticeably cleaner and fresher. I also enjoy the mineralization feature. It not only ensures that the water is pure but also enhances its taste by adding essential minerals. It's like having a mini natural spring right in my kitchen! Now, let me talk about the fantastic customer service. I had a minor issue with my order, and the support team at langwater was quick to respond and resolve the matter. Their commitment to customer satisfaction truly stood out, and it's reassuring to know that they stand behind their product. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, efficient, and affordable countertop water filtration system, backed by outstanding customer service. Cheers to clean and delicious water every day ... show more

  • Does what it says.

Well water and tired of bottled water for a variety of reasons, two main ones are all the stupid plastic and the weight of carrying to the house. That said my well water is awful, I do have a carbon filter thing and sediment filter but still loads of black manganese. No one seems to know how to get it out. I bought this RO as I wanted to add minerals back in, this does that, water tastes great. I love the hot water on demand for my tea. I bought the flavor packs, lemon, peach and orange and I’ll just say, eh. Could do without. The flavor packs don’t work with the hot water function. The container that I put my water in to be filtered gets and is kinda black, brown, filmy. The container that the RO water comes out of is as clean as the day I started using it. So I am assuming the nasties are getting out. And again the RO water tastes great. I never had an RO so can’t say the following are cons just wish there was a better way? I opted for the counter version so refilling is necessary but time consuming for this lazy American. I think under sink is the way to go especially once you know the RO works. There is an everyday feature of hot water cleaning. Kind of a pain as that is when I want water. But these things I accept as it beats my two main reasons for doing this. And most of all the water tastes great. ... show more
