It seems very sturdy and was easy to assemble. It came with a few odor deoderizing items which i found very useful. It's spacious enough for average sized cats but i do have a very big kitty that wasn't comfortable using it, i wouldn't exactly call it xxx large but it's good enough, if your cats are on the larger size then you probably want to find a bigger one. ... show more

This is a high quality item. It will be much easier to clean than our old plastic one. The height and width are also great! That is the main reason we got a new one. Both our cats are fairly large and could barely stand up or turn around in their old box. The pan is metal but the rest is plastic. It is truly BIG. I had no concept of how big. It is hard to scoop without removing the entire lid. The litter I use does stick to the pan and I have to scrape it off. The scooper that came with it is useless. Threw it away and use a kitchen fryer tool. This litter box is a very great size (tape measure for reference) I have two cats and got one of them to try it out for a month before I commit to getting another. Metal bottom, plastic top. I taped the plastic clear door to the inside because my cats don’t understand the door.
