Wow!! This stuff is incredible. I was using feria in the blood moon shade forever but it was frying my hair due to the need to frequently redye to freshen my red. This color (hot chili) felt like a new formula that was so much gentler on my hair but delivered a gorgeous rich red that was consistent from my dark brown roots to my previously colored hair. It also gave me 100% grey coverage. I used this about 5 weeks ago and my red is still going strong, though I do use a color depositing conditioner every couple of weeks to freshen my color up. Nice brownish copper color . My hair was black two weeks ago i bleached it and than tried to go lighter copper but came up horrible , some part were still slightely black roots were bright orange clown and red rest of the hair mostly red copper overall a mess . But I did not want to go black again after going through all that trouble so i picked this darker copper hoping it would camouflage and make everything blend together better . It did a good job . At least its one color now . I like it . My hair feels fine . Will probably look better next time I redye it with the same color . Planning to keep for a while now . Happy overall

I called the L'Oréal hotline, excellent hair customer service. I thought the wrong color was in the bottle as my hair is darker than before. The agent was excellent. It will darken gray hair and my gray is now dark brown. She also said it will darken any previously lightened hair color. Sure enough, fine print on the box says “extreme lightening for darker hair. Lifts to 3 levels.” The box also says in super fine print “not recommended on predominantly gray or heavily highlighted hair.” This was not on the Amazon description. She recommended not lightening my hair with other products for 4 weeks. She recommended washing with Head & Shoulders several times. However, it might only lift from my white/grey hair and not the previously lightened hair.

I absolutely love this L’Oréal hair dye. What really impressed me is that it works beautifully on natural black hair without any bleaching. The color comes out as a soft, subtle red, and it looks especially gorgeous under sunlight — very natural and shiny, not too bold. It also doesn’t feel overly damaging to my hair. My hair still feels smooth after coloring, which is a big plus for me. I’ve repurchased this dye many times from different places because it’s been so reliable. Recently I saw it on Amazon at a discounted price, which was such a great deal, so I went ahead and subscribed. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for an easy, low-damage way to add some color to dark hair. Highly recommend! FYI： it will dye the floor and the wall!

I love this color: Black Leather. I'm 61, and everyone tried to talk me out of dying my gray hair black. But I'm a winter and I thought it would look good. People now say I look 10-15 years younger than before! It's so easy to apply and stains on your skin usually come off in the shower. It has that multi-faceted natural look which I think is the #1 reason you should use Feria. Plus, I have used many others and they run and are just a pain to apply. This one's the winner! I'll share a picture of myself from 6 years ago with gray hair, and a picture of me now with my hair colored with Feria - Black Leather.

I did absolutely love this color and covered gray well. Close to black while indoors unless the light hit just right to make the purple pop. In the sun or bright lighting it was a beautiful and vibrant purple. My only downfall to this product is that I was continiously washing the color out, even using a L'Oreal shampoo for color treated hair. In about 3 weeks the color was practically all washed out.

I like this product but PLEASE if you are taking your hair from a dark color to a light color, do NOT follow the instructions in the box. I was going from a medium-dark brown to a light brown. The instructions say to start the color 1 inch down from your roots applying color from mid-head to the ends and let that set for 20 minutes and then when that time is up apply the rest of the color to your roots and let that set for 10 minutes. I questioned this and it didn’t make sense to me — I thought why would your roots need less time with the hair color on your head when doing the entire head — but I told myself to just follow the directions on the package. BIG MISTAKE. Exactly what I feared would happen, did happen. ORANGE ROOTS! It looks insane. So I just reordered the product and will attempt to correct this tomorrow by applying more to my roots. But be warned! Just put it all over your head on the first go-round and leave on for 30 minutes if you are trying to go from dark to light.
