This is a pretty good unit for what I paid. I got it during a lightning deal which made it an awesome buy. Took me about 2 hours to put it together by myself in a garage. Had slight difficulty signing the pieces, but once locked in, everything else fell into place. The screws are pretty cheap and started stripping with a handheld screwdriver so be careful. My hands were pretty sore when all was said and done. A lot of screwing! Wish I could use a power drill...may be able to if you're very careful. Does not come with shelves for the inside. Those are sold separately. Also, doesn't seal completely at the door hinges. Small bugs may be able to get through on mine. With a little tweaking this can be remedied. Overall I do recommend this deck box. Has a decent weight to it & will definitely withstand the elements.

Purchased to house our bags of trash each week before driving them to our local dump. Extremely well made and super easy to put together in no time. Will hold at least nine 30 gallon black trash bags full of garbage. It all locks up tight to keep out trash bandits (racoons, opossums, dogs). It is pretty much waterproof because the lid overhangs the sides. It does have a floor in it but it will be easy to spray off and keep clean. It could be used for many things such as pool toy storage, tools, etc. We are super happy with this purchase and recommend this product.

The plastic wall thickness is a bit skimpy for a plastic enclosure product. We have other similar products that aren't prone to crushing as this product is. But, we're using this as a seldom touched water tank cleaning pump enclosure. Be careful sliding the locking joints together, failure to exercise proper application of force will cause damage. Place one full edge on floor while using two hands and others helping hands as well to sowly spread the load to firmly press the other panel into the other against the floor. Don't use a rubber mallet or any small contact area method to apply the interlocking fitting forces. If anyone is planning on using this as a pool pump enclosure, this is how a 16" sand filter and 1hp pump fits in the box. It can easily handle a bigger pump system as well.

This was the size we were looking for, and I wanted to love it. Even with the few dents from shipping that left the base with weak plastic lines where it sat and connected to the bottom floor. Then just after the second month we noticed that it DOES NOT WEATHER WELL outside! It sat mostly in the shade but did not do well during summer heat. The entire lid no longer sits flat and seals around the top. All 4 corners are warped upward with the front corners being the worst. With this being a feed bin storage for chickens, we wanted something small to keep feed safe and rodents and bugs out as much as possible. Now we cannot leave it outside at all because one snowfall and the inside would be wet, we already endured that fun with the rainstorms last week. So now a 1 star because it's not weather proof and we had to store it inside a 15'x15' wooden shed just to keep it and use it as feed storage. Useless after 2 months, worthless by 4 months. Watse of money! Buy a big wooden shed, money well spent.

We are pleased with this item. It’s sturdy, waterproof and was fairly easy to assemble. It does take two people to assemble but was not difficult. We’re using it for our BBQ tools, pellets, and patio cushions. We’re thinking about purchasing additional units for our recycling bins.
