It finally happened. I seem to have turned very, very, but not completely gray. I have tried a few colors but didn't want anything that made a super difference between the existing brown that I have and the grays. I had a few failures with the shades and disappointments with other colors not lasting long, at all. This "age perfect" drew me in, so I gave it a shot. I like it. It's subtle. My original brown doesn't stand out and this shade doesn't make a big contrast with my gray hairs either. It's a nice, subtle color and blends in a way that isn't a notibly colored. I like it. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE having my favorite haircolor on a scheduled delivery; I don't have to go to several stores searching for "MY Color", or dealing with it being no longer in stock. L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Hair Color is THE BEST I've ever used. It's a beautiful color, and so moisturizing on my hair. I love the sparkle and shine I get...its a dimensional color...not flat and dull. I have premature white hair (thx mom, love ya) and I tried to rock it for a while, but it's just not "me" this early in the game. As I am aging I realized a lighter blonde only made me look older. I chose this color and it worked beautifully and even has highlights so its not one solid color.

I bought this to even-out my roots when another coloring product didn't seem well-absorbed by my roots and recently dyed hair. This product worked okay. Not great, but my haircolor is more even. The dye is easy to use, but - oh my - the smell of the ammonia was horrendous. Even halfway through applying the color, I could barely see what I was doing. My eyes were watering that much. I'm pretty sure this product has been discontinued, and - if so - that's for a good reason. However, next time I color my hair, I'll spend more and use a product that's ammonia-free. My experience with this haircolor was enough to make me swear off all L'Oreal Excellence products for the foreseeable future. It improved the color of my roots so my hair is more even-toned and natural-looking, but that's all I can say in favor of this product. (My advice if you're in a similar situation: Spend more and get a top-quality product without ammonia.) ... show more

I'm so impressed with the improved application process. The little brush made it so easy to apply! AND THAT CONDITIONER!!! Oh my gosh! I'm 55 with aging hair. Dry, course, dull were a major problem I stopped coloring for 4 years, got frequent hair cuts to get it back to "virgin territory" before I colored again This conditioner included with the color made my hair feel and look like it did when I was a child! ... show more
