I’ve had a mermaid kind of purple to blue to mint gradient in my hair for months and I’m sick of the maintenance. I got this to try as my usual color remover never works on the blue/greens. I used 20volume with it and processed for 45 minutes since I know my hair can be kinda stubborn. I am blown away but how well it worked. I’m basically a blonde again, just a tiny amount of pink at my root that I missed and a few very pale green streaks. My ends were a little damaged but they need a trim anyways (I purposely did this before my trim next week) but overall my hair does not feel compromised at all. 10/10 will use again to remove semi dyes. I needed 1.5 packets for my long thick hair, probably would have needed 2whole packets but I have 1/2 of my head shaved. ... show more

I had to rinse it off early bc my roots had already lifted, but it was actually taking rhe red off of my hair, if i had let it say longer in very sure it would have totally came off

For starters I’ve done a lot with my hair and recently I went black by using a permanent color from Sally’s and then a black box dye ontop of that and under all of it was a light brown and some blond and then dark pink ontop of that to fill it in to then put a dark brown so needless to say it’s been a lot so I’m Honeslty pleased with how well this lifted I added some shampoo as well to make a kinda like a bleach bath since yes this dose have some bleach in it and then I added a 20 developer by the same brand and when I say I was so pleased with the results I meant it I definitely recommend this if you were trying to remove black box dye now my root area is much darker so I’m assuming the dark dye took the most there but overall my ends are a nice light brown and ready to be dyed again !! ( I should add that yes it dose make ur hair feel a bit dry I mean obvi it’s bleach so just make sure to use a nice hair mask and some leave ins after!! Do not use this unless you want your hair to fall out. I used it like instructed and my hair fell out in CLUMPS. I’m thankful I have thick hair or I would probably be bald. The breakage is horrid and I have lost inches of my hair.

Don’t use this unless you want to completely bleach your hair. I just don’t understand why some products’ selling points are centered around removing unwanted color. And yes, I read the fine print, the reviews, the ratings and shop around before using a product like this. This one said it removes the color in your color treated hair, but doesn’t return it to your natural color. The first one I used was Color oops. That was a bust so I shopped around and did my research and finally settled on this one. BIG MISTAKE. This crap not only bleached my hair but into a bright yellow blonde that no one would like. Of course I tried toning it but ultimately the only way to even get it to a point to where I would actually leave the house was to color over it, which I did not want to do right away. Basically, if you’re looking for a quick, cheap way to bleach your hair, this is for you. Anything else, STAY AWAY! It also said you might need two packs if you had long or thick hair. Backstory: I had previously salon highlighted hair until I used some Punky Color hot pink color conditioner before seeing the Barbie movie😅 the pink was very stubborn and wouldn’t come out. So naturally, I bought a box of semi permanent brown hair dye from Sally’s that left my hair black. The first picture is my first application of the L’Oréal color remover, which removed the brown dye from my ends only. However, I’m wondering if this was the case because I used warm water rather than developer. I was left with a reddish-cowboy copper situation until my second application of the color remover (second picture) which I ended up mixing with Ion Volume 10 developer. All of the black is gone & I was left with this brassy orange-yellow. Totally okay with it though because the whole point of me buying this stuff was to get the darkness OUT. Mission accomplished! Definitely recommend using developer if you want thorough results. Will buy again if I need to. ... show more
