This thing is great. I'm reviewing it after a few weeks and a few dozen uses. I was upgrading my home-gym setup from the amazon basics flat bench so that I could do a wider variety of dumbbell exercises than just lying flat on my back. When folded, it takes up less space than the flat bench. Unfolded, it is longer and adjustable. Highly recommend, with a couple cons that don't bother me personally. Things I like: -Sturdiness & Material : It's got a nice solid feeling to all of the parts. It locks in solid. That's the most important quality, as I wouldn't use a product that doesn't feel safe. The pockmarked gray/black finish makes it look and feel great. I trust the thing. The pads are also very standard. They show marks from my sweat, but that's fine. Hopefully it doesn't get really badly stained and ugly over time. -Looks: No ugly branding or colors. Fits with most color schemes, doesn't draw attention when it's folded up, and doesn't make me feel silly to use. It's vain, I know, but when I already struggle to find the motivation to exercise, having goofy-looking exercise gear is off-putting. I was willing to pay for this one over others because of looks. -Folding/Unfolding: Very easy. Flip it upside down, move a pin, and flip it right-side up. Then adjust the seat and back to your liking. -Initial assembly: I was confused by how simple assembly was. It comes essentially pre-assembled, with a couple pads/rods to stick on. Things I don't like: -Folding/Unfolding (nit pick): The pins don't lock in place when they're not in use (for the overall mechanism and for the feet). They have the groove like a hitch pin would, but nothing for the groove when they're not in use. They lock in fine when they're in use for exercise, so I'm not really concerned, even though I've had the foot pin fall out before when not in use. -Adjustment: It's gotten a bit easier over time, but the overall back/seat are REALLY tough to adjust. I had to fiddle with the locking bolts for a while just to be able to tell if it was unlocked for use or not, because it's that hard to adjust. I never actually tighten the locking bolts when in use, as the spring-loaded part is sufficient. I have to stand on the feet of the thing and put my weight into adjusting it. If you don't stand on it, you'll pick it up before it actually adjusts. But, because we're exercising here, I don't really mind the bit of elbow grease required, as it's such a sturdy piece of gear. -Exercise poster: It comes with a poster of exercises. Don't buy it for that, that's a weird branding thing. This is a workout bench, not an all-in-one exercise gimmick. ... show more

    • Great bench for my needs
The bench arrived almost assembled. It took less than 5 min to fully assemble it. It folds very easily when done. This was my requirement because I don't have much space to store it unfolded. It is longer than I expected. I am 6'4" and fit just fine. It's rated 800 lbs but I would not try to bench press heavy on it. I got it mostly for stretching and relatively light dumbbell work. The dragon flag handles work very well and it's stable for the dragon flag work. It's also very easy to adjust up and down. I like that it’s sturdy and good quality. Relatively easy to maneuver the settings. You can do a lot of exercises with this bench. And it is big enough to allow someone as big as 6’2” to workout comfortably. And it’s great because it’s easy to fold up and stow away. It's been about a good solid 2 months now of using this and this bench is holding up great. I use this bench about 3-4 times per week with free weights (I do not have a bar). I do chests once a week which is when the bench gets the most use. No problems with the flat, decline, and incline positions. I haven't noticed any of the fabric or seams coming apart which is a good sign. The biggest reason why I got this though was because it folds up nicely. I don't have much space so having a bench that can fold up easily was a must. For the price point, you really can do no wrong with this. I would 10/10 buy this again if I needed to. ... show more
