I order these ALL the time. Last time was a 20 pack. NEVER had one that failed. This applies to many other brands as well. When I read the one star reviews and people complaining about the failure rate, I have a strong feeling that they aren't using them correctly. I blame that on the customer AND the manufacturer. Here is why. If you DO NOT FORMAT each one of these gizmo's before using it, forget it. So, I PUT one into the USB port on my Windows Laptop. THEN, I find the drive and RIGHT CLICK the mouse and then press FORMAT. (leave it on quick format which is the default setting). It takes ONE SECOND to do a QUICK FORMAT of these memory sticks. THEN you put whatever you want on them. I use these to put music files that I ripped from CD's in .wav uncompressed format, which is essentially the same as copying the whole CD uncompressed, to the USB drive. SO NO loss of music quality. They play great, sound exactly like the CD and it keeps my CD's in brand new condition and is much easier than burning to blank CD's since my CD player has a USB port in the front. YEARS ago, when these flash drives first came out, it AlWAYS told you to FORMAT the drive before use. After all, who knows which operating system you are using or which file format you are using. So FORMAT THE STICK before use for YOUR computer and they work GREAT. ONE star off for price. Buy the cheapest you can find. They all work the same. That said, there is NOTHING I can find wrong with these sticks. Lately I had to burn TONS of music so I had to buy many packs of these sticks and didn't have time to shop around for price. Any brand will do. If you like the look of these versus others, then get these. I do like the protective metal cover that swings over the USB plug to protect it when not in use. GOOD product. We have used these to copy data and move to new PC's. These are a great design and very sturdy. I have had them in water and thru the washer and they still work. (NOT RECOMMENDED). My point is that these take a beating and do what they were designed to do - move/store data or pictures.

I have bought quite a few 20 packs from this seller, but this will probably be my last, I'm not sure if they recently switched suppliers but there is a noticeable difference in speed and quality. I use these for my business so constantly transfering the same files to these flash drives, so it isn't the files. Before I would be able to transfer a 7.88GB file in less than 10min, recently on my last 2 orders it takes over 30min to transfer the same file. Also 2 of the 20 flash drives were completely corrupted and all 3 of my computers and laptops wouldn't recognize the flash drive. ... show more

I purchased 4 GB (5), 16 GB (20), and 64 GB (5) drives. The 16 GB ones are worthless. While loading photos on them they eventually crash and I just get an eject error message. After that happens a few times the drive won't even load. They are un-useable. I didn't test them when they arrived and the return date has passed. The 4 GB and 64 GB drives seem to be working fine (so far) but with over $50 down the toilet I am NOT buying this brand again. ... show more

Purchased set of 50. Discovered the hard way while on the job that the zip drives were corrupt. Triple checked several and got the same message. Got home to verify computer was ok, called and verified the camera system that the zip drives would record was functional. Checked several of the others and they wouldn't recorded. Don't waste time.
