  • Very good for the money
Color: Black
Heater works great hardly no assembly required, lights easy puts off a good amount of heat only thing that could be better is if heater had a small fan to push heat outward.

  • Puts out great heat
Color: Black
This gas heater puts out a lot of heat! I was very impressed. I wanted something to use in my barn. And this works great. It’s the gas heater so I’ll always have fumes so I don’t recommend a small spaces. But in case of an emergency or electricity going out, it works very well.!

  • Works Great and is Reliable

I really love that the heater starts quickly and lights up fast. I've been using it for several weeks now and it beats the Mr. Buddy all day long. Not as portable I know, but at least it works every time!

  • KOHREE Portable Propane Gas Heater, 18,000 BTU/Hr, w/ODS & Tip-over Protection, Gas Regulator & Hose
Color: Black
This is my review of the KOHREE portable propane gas heater (Model LQ-KB1). This item was received well packaged and without any damage. The item comes fully assembled except that the propane cylinder shelf must be folded down and the chrome-plated steel grill that protects the 20-pound propane cylinder must be put into place once the propane cylinder is placed into the back of the heater. The heater comes equipped with five locking casters (four under the heater and one supporting the propane cylinder shelf). Additionally, the heater has a short fuel gas hose with an attached regulator that must be connected to the propane cylinder (which is not included with the product) when the heater is put into use. I unpacked the heater, read its “User Manual”, inspected the heater, and connected the regulator to a propane cylinder I had available. I then turned on the propane cylinder valve and then scanned the heater’s regulator, hose, and control valve for propane leaks with a semiconductor-sensor based combustible gas detector. No leaks were detected. I then began the process to light the heater’s pilot light using the heater’s piezo-electric igniter. The “User Manual” indicated that it would require 30 seconds to purge the air from the fuel gas hose upon the first use of the heater. In my case it took closer to a minute before the air was purged from the hose and control valve and the pilot light would actually light. Once the pilot light was successfully lit, I then rotated the control knob to the first position and the first (center) burner tile ignited (heat output of 6142 BTU/Hour). It took several minutes for the center burner tile to begin to turn orange. I checked for gas leaks again and none were found. I then rotated the rotated the control knob to the second position and the second (left) burner tile ignited (heat total output of 12,624 BTU/Hour). Once again, it took several minutes for the second (left) burner tile to begin to turn orange. I checked for gas leaks again and none were found. I then rotated the rotated the control knob to the third position and the third (right) burner tile ignited (total heat output of 18,766 BTU/Hour). Once again, it took several minutes for the third (right) burner tile to begin to turn orange. I checked for gas leaks again and none were found. With all three burner tiles operational I noted that this heater puts out a considerable amount heat. In reading the Amazon page for this product one learns that this heater is equipped with an Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) which will shut the heater off if it detects that the percentage of oxygen within the air drops to concerning levels (oxygen below 18%). The heater is also equipped with a Tip-Over Protection device which will automatically shut the heater off if the heater is tipped more than about 45° from normal vertical orientation. Unfortunately, neither of these features are described in the “User Manual.” While the “User Manual” conveys a lot of very useful information, it needs additional work. It needs to be printed in a larger font size, the format has some issues that make reading difficult, it mentions things that have no impact on this product (i.e., references to electrical connections which this product does not have), and there are features that are not described and explained and should be (e.g., ODS and Tip-Over Protection). Additionally, some of the terminology employed is not typically used in the United States and may be confusing to the purchaser. When this heater was brought online and came up to temperature, I noted no unusual smells which is an unusual thing for most propane heaters. Usually, there is a smell of burning materials that may be left over from the production and construction process. That did not happen with this product and I am grateful for that. I have checked for propane leaks several times and have found none. I did note that this product was delivered with a fabric (perhaps nylon?) cover which may be placed over the heater after its use and ONLY AFTER the heater has cooled to room temperature. I did make one observation about the heater that I am puzzled by. When the heating tiles are at temperature, the center third of the tiles has a slightly darker appearance than the top and bottom thirds of the tiles. This happens whether one, two, or even three tiles are in operation. I really do not want to take the heater apart to determine how the fuel gas is delivered to the heating tiles so that I can figure out this phenomenon. Perhaps relatedly, I did note that the “User Manual” indicates that this heater can also utilize butane gas as a fuel source. Butane is much more difficult to obtain in quantity amounts in the United States but it is the gas of choice in other parts of the world. Since butane gas has approximately 20% more thermal energy than propane gas, I wonder if the heater were operated with butane gas instead of propane gas, would the heater tiles be uniformly colored? Perhaps the manufacturer could address this question? I like this product very much. It can put out a lot of heat, if needed. Alternatively, the amount of heat output can be adjusted to that needed and desired using the three-position control. That feature is a definitive plus. If possible, I would suggest that the manufacturer add a blower fan to the top of the heater to help distribute the prodigious amount of heat produced. The additional cost would not be significant, the added utility would be great, and it could be made available as an option. ... show more

  • Kohree Propane Heater, 18,000 BTU Portable LP
Color: Black
This propane heater is easy to hook up, it puts out a generous amount of heat. I use it on my patio, it is somewhat enclosed for winter and this works well for heating this small area. It doesn’t use a lot of fuel.

  • Very nice
Color: Black
I got this to use in case of a power outage, because my family insisted. But what I'm actually planning on using it for is to warm my screened in porch. I enjoy sitting out there in all weather, and using this will help when it's cold out. I can use it in my house in emergencies, but when using it indoors it's best to use it in a large space with ventilation, so be careful. I appreciate that the wheels were already installed, making it easy to slide wherever you want. It has an oxygen sensor, so that it'll go out if it's tipped over. And you can use the same propane tank as you probably have on your grill. And if your power does go out in the winter, this will keep you warm. ... show more

  • Decent, a little light on safety

I would hesitate to use this indoors, but maybe in a pinch. Wasn't a lot of info on the safety features. But I do like how the standard gas canister fits in the device, and had rollers to make it easy to move and store. Well be testing this weekend in the shop
