I went big on storage and picked up three KLEVV CRAS C910 2TB NVMe drives, and I’m using all of them purely as game drives. That’s 6TB dedicated just to gaming, and honestly, it feels amazing never having to think about uninstalling anything. Performance is exactly what you’d want from a Gen4 NVMe. Games launch almost instantly, load screens are basically gone, and swapping between massive titles is seamless. I’ve got huge libraries installed across all three drives—AAA games, MMOs, indies, you name it—and they all run buttery smooth. It’s kind of wild to have this much ultra-fast storage dedicated just to games, but it means my entire collection is always ready to go. Thermals are great too. Each drive comes with its own slim heatsink, and even with all three installed, I haven’t run into throttling or overheating. The heatsinks don’t get in the way of anything else in my build, and they do their job keeping temps in check. What I love most is the peace of mind. I don’t have to juggle installs anymore or pick and choose what stays on my system. And because the drives are consistent, I don’t notice any difference in performance no matter which one I’m loading from. If you’re the kind of gamer who wants your entire library installed and running at top speed, stacking a few of these KLEVV CRAS C910s is absolutely worth it. Works great, was super easy to install and i have had zero problems with data loss. I used this for my gaming pc setup and so far it has been enough storage but eventually im going to need to upgrade. Very good value for the price though

This is my first time trying a KLEVV nvme drive. I felt pretty confident about the purchase because I knew the KLEVV is a subsidiary of SK Hynix. It's their consumer brand that hasn't gotten a lot of attention yet. But rest assured the components are made by one of the largest memory manufacturers on the planet. Now on this particular drive... Is it the fastest? No. But it's not slow. It's just an affordable yet relieble mid-range SSD. It also comes with an aluminum heat spreader if you need it, which I didn't since I installed it with my mother board's built in heatsink. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the price and performance of this drive. If youre on a budget as I was, I'd choose this over other drives in its price range. If anything changes with this drive I'll be sure to update my review. ... show more

So far, so good. With the included heatsink, runs at 55 dec. C when idle, so I will be getting a real aftermarket heatsink. Klevv Toolbox software doesn't detect the ssd even though Windows does. Doesn't include the standoff screw and the mounting screw that you need to actually mount the ssd, thus 4 stars. And there doesn't seem to be anywhere for you to register your purchase of the ssd in case you need a warranty claim. ... show more

Great budget drive but definitely don’t expect the kind of performance you’ll get out of something like a Samsung 990 Pro. If that’s okay with you, it’s a great drive. It does everything you need so long as you don’t mind giving it a couple seconds sometimes. I’ve also noticed it gets capped out at 100% in Task Manager quite often just from background processes (Discord, Steam, SignalRGB) ... show more

    • Two of three failed within months; runs much hotter than Samsung 990 EVO Plus (NAS use)
Capacity: 4TB Style: Gen4 C910
Setup: All-NVMe NAS (M.2), 24/7. I bought three KLEVV CRAS C910 drives in July. Failures: ~2 months in (late Sept / early Oct): first C910 started failing—detected after reboot, would begin array rebuild and then drop out ~70–80% through, leaving the pool degraded. Nov 28: a second C910 failed with the same pattern. That’s 2 of 3 units failing within a few months. Thermals (same heatsinks, same NAS, same slots): KLEVV C910: ~47 °C idle, typically 51–57 °C under heavy operations, and peaks at 62 °C. Samsung 990 EVO Plus (replacements): ~39 °C idle, ~45–50 °C under the same workload. In my environment the KLEVVs ran at least 7 °C hotter than the Samsungs, and they hit 62 °C under load. Not a chassis/slot issue: After swapping the failed KLEVVs for Samsung 990 EVO Plus, the NAS rebuilt cleanly and has been stable at lower temps, using the same heatsinks and slots. Bottom line: With two early failures and consistently higher temps (up to 62 °C under load), I can’t recommend the KLEVV CRAS C910 for NAS/always-on duty. I’ve replaced them with Samsung 990 EVO Plus and have had no issues since. ... show more
