    • Big performance, small price
Capacity: 2TB Style: Gen4 C910
I went big on storage and picked up three KLEVV CRAS C910 2TB NVMe drives, and I’m using all of them purely as game drives. That’s 6TB dedicated just to gaming, and honestly, it feels amazing never having to think about uninstalling anything. Performance is exactly what you’d want from a Gen4 NVMe. Games launch almost instantly, load screens are basically gone, and swapping between massive titles is seamless. I’ve got huge libraries installed across all three drives—AAA games, MMOs, indies, you name it—and they all run buttery smooth. It’s kind of wild to have this much ultra-fast storage dedicated just to games, but it means my entire collection is always ready to go. Thermals are great too. Each drive comes with its own slim heatsink, and even with all three installed, I haven’t run into throttling or overheating. The heatsinks don’t get in the way of anything else in my build, and they do their job keeping temps in check. What I love most is the peace of mind. I don’t have to juggle installs anymore or pick and choose what stays on my system. And because the drives are consistent, I don’t notice any difference in performance no matter which one I’m loading from. If you’re the kind of gamer who wants your entire library installed and running at top speed, stacking a few of these KLEVV CRAS C910s is absolutely worth it. For me, it’s been the perfect storage solution—fast, reliable, and plenty of space to let me game without limits. ... show more

    • Works great in ROG Ally X!
Installed in my new ROG Ally X and it works great. Huge space! I have every new AAA game installed from Gamepass and it is only half full. Fast and runs cool. Update: this failed on me after less than 5 months of light use. Klevv didn't have replacements available and instead refunded 100% of the original purchase price. ... show more

    • Fails silently after a year: 1.8 GB/s collapses to 57 MB/s while SMART still reports PASSED
Capacity: 1TB Style: Gen4 C910
I bought this drive about a year ago for a gaming PC. It has now failed, and the failure mode is worth describing in detail, because it will not show up in any health check you run. THE SYMPTOM The entire PC freezes for several seconds at random intervals during games. Not a crash. It stalls, then everything resumes. WHAT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING The drive's controller stops responding for seconds at a time. Windows eventually gives up and resets the device. My Windows System log has 40 "Reset to device" events (stornvme, Event ID 129), including a burst firing every 12 seconds for three minutes straight. Windows also logged an NTFS error naming this drive by model: "The system failed to flush data to the transaction log. Corruption may occur." I MEASURED IT Sequential read of the raw device in 8 GiB blocks, operating system cache bypassed, drive unmounted and idle: 1.7 GB/s 1.8 GB/s 1.5 GB/s 424 MB/s 338 MB/s 57 MB/s Identical operations, same drive, one continuous test, degrading as it went. Peak temperature 54 C, nowhere near thermal throttling. A separate full drive read averaged 277 MB/s and settled around 100 MB/s. 57 MB/s on an NVMe SSD is slower than a mechanical hard drive from twenty years ago. THE PART THAT MATTERS MOST The drive reports itself as perfectly healthy the entire time: SMART overall assessment: PASSED Media and data integrity errors: 0 Error log entries: 0 Available spare: 100% Percentage used: 0% Its own built in NVMe self test: completed without error Only 5.71 TB written against a rated 700 TBW. That is under 1% of its endurance, so nothing is worn out. chkdsk found zero bad sectors. Every diagnostic says the drive is fine while it delivers roughly 3% of its rated speed. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU If you own one of these and your PC stutters for no obvious reason, do not trust the health check. Measure the actual throughput. I chased this for days looking at the wrong things because every tool told me the drive was healthy. A storage device whose own diagnostics cannot detect its own failure is not something I can recommend. ... show more

    • Nice SSD (that used to be the best budget ssd)
Capacity: 1TB Style: Gen4 C910
I build pcs and haven’t had a complaint about it so it seems to be working great. It’s pretty fast and has been staying cool. I just wish I had bought tons of these when I bought this before the price hikes making the SSD’s cost 3x more. Not particularly the seller fault but it’s annoying that we have to live with inflation. ... show more

It’s very reliable. Installation was easy. For compatibility the NVMe SSD fits into m.2 slot and works well with m.2 pcie 4.0 slot. I was able to setup a hardware raid 0 with another NVMe SSD.

    • Great Game Drive
I got this before all the prices went crazy 2 years ago and used it only for Steam games. For the price I got it at, it was great, it died last month. Klevv honored the 5 year warranty without issue, I now have my brand new replacement drive and it's working perfectly. I'd only recommend this if you can get it at a great deal like I did ($170) and only use it to store things you don't necessarily care if the drive dies. Customer service was great, you just need to message them within Amazon for purchase verification ... show more

    • Great for the price!
Capacity: 2TB Style: Gen4 C910
This is my first time trying a KLEVV nvme drive. I felt pretty confident about the purchase because I knew the KLEVV is a subsidiary of SK Hynix. It's their consumer brand that hasn't gotten a lot of attention yet. But rest assured the components are made by one of the largest memory manufacturers on the planet. Now on this particular drive... Is it the fastest? No. But it's not slow. It's just an affordable yet relieble mid-range SSD. It also comes with an aluminum heat spreader if you need it, which I didn't since I installed it with my mother board's built in heatsink. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the price and performance of this drive. If youre on a budget as I was, I'd choose this over other drives in its price range. If anything changes with this drive I'll be sure to update my review. ... show more
