Is absolutely genius.You simply place the log you want to split onto the blade, give it a light tap, and the blade seats firmly into the wood, holding everything in place.Then, just strike it with a hammer or maul, and it splits cleanly. It’s so much easier and significantly safer. Really sturdy cast iron construction.Honestly, it’s a complete game-changer for this task. This is a well-built tool with a good, solid weight to it. For stability, I highly recommend attaching it to a proper wooden base using the provided screw holes—mine hasn't tipped over since I did. Using a dead-blow hammer with it also makes the process much more efficient. It's an excellent product, and I would definitely recommend it.
