I bought this for a grandchild for Christmas. She loves this kind of thing and I thought she would enjoy it. They are a little steep in price and I must say, I was a bit surprised when it arrived in a tiny little 2.5 x 2.5 inch box, (From the pics, I was expecting something about double that size). I wanted to be certain I was getting a decent quality item, so I removed it from the box and started messing around with it to check quality and entertainment value. Well, we are now 3 days closer to Christmas since it arrived and I am no closer to getting back into that 2.5 x 2.5 box it came in. It is ridiculous how many times I have tried to fold it back into a tiny little square! To be honest, I simply feel frustrated with the whole damn thing. I even had ideations of tearing it apart and gluing it back together. (Then I remembered what I paid and I thought better of it.) The quality certainly seems decent. I am basing that on the fact that it didn't come apart yet and I think I have folded it every which way to Sunday. On the upside, my granddaughter is probably going to love it! She is just 9 yrs old, but will probably get it back in the box in 5 minutes!! So, I guess what I am reluctantly saying, is that I think the entertainment value is there. I still have 20 days to get some help (probably from a kid!) with getting this back in the box it came in. Otherwise, I will find a new box to wrap it in and keep the old box - so I can show the granddaughter how it looked when I got it. It is a little embarrassing that I have found this to be so difficult. But, I am trying to be transparent here and forewarn you that UNLESS you have some help from a genius (ok maybe exaggerating there), DO NOT take it out of the box to try it out if it is a gift for someone else! Purchase this for my son I had actually looked at them originally last year and decided to pass but I have been so intrigued by them and My son being on the higher functioning end of the autism spectrum fidgets a lot with his hands and constantly need something to keep his hands occupied received this in the mail the other day and of course Mom had to open it up and play with it for a few minutes super cool the prints they offerโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ if you have a child that fidgets a lot now not recommended for a little little one because theyโ€™ll probably tear it up but if you have a elementary school age child all the way up to adult child who likes to fidget this is for them if you have a Grateful Dead fan as I am in your family awesome gift because theyโ€™re grateful dead prints are just off the chain highly recommend itโ€™s definitely worth the price I was a little hesitant but definitely worth it๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ ... show more

My kids ages 12-6 have enjoyed this toy. I gave it to my oldest for Christmas last year. They played with it pretty regularly for about a year. Now, some of the paper is pulling away from the pieces but it has held up to a Lot of handling and dropping so I still consider it well made and sturdy. I plan to add a bit of glue to the piece that is lifting up some. My kids learned what shapes they can make and which shapes they have to go through to get to the others. It's good fun for everyone. I purchased it for my 8-year-old's birthday and now I have to get one for his 11-year-old brother too. They each make shapes and challenge each other to replicate it and time themselves. I told my 8-year-old that if he doesn't break it, I'll get him another one next year to join with it and the year after as well. I bought one of these for my son. He couldn't put it down. It is pretty durable. The glue does come undone under reasonable duress aka 5 year old boy. I loved the one my daughter had but the one I received was not like hers. Hers is one complete piece and the one I got was not-it had 2 open ends and just flopped around. Itโ€™s supposed to be completely attached so you can make circles/stars. Mine was one long piece with 2 open ends not attached.
