I’ve had a few wood splitters over the years and this one is by far the best performing in terms of durability, effectiveness and ease of use. It is perfect for bringing along on a camping trip or outdoor excursion to ensure a quick and easy fire when you arrive back at the site. It is truly the fastest way to get your fire and dinner or snacks going and it’s so easy to use that my kids can do it! This bad boy has already split logs for 4 different camping trips this summer and really saved my back from trying to use an axe to make kindling or anything. I even use it at home for the indoor fireplace or our outdoor pit when friends and family are visiting and I need a few pieces without cutting into our time together. Love this thing. I burn wood all winter to keep the house warm. This product has significantly cut down my time chopping wood. It’s durable. I’ve hit the side with my hammer and it didn’t even budge. Probably the best part is I can easily take it with me to camp. Honestly I should just buy another for my travels. I appreciate the larger rim. The last product I owned wood would get stuck. I haven’t had that issue here. I strongly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. This is the second splitter (6” and now 8”) I’ve bought from this company and I bring one on every camping trip. This time I got the 8” for bigger wood at home. I use a small 3# hammer to split with. The splitter has holes in the base so you can mount to a solid surface to stop the bouncing but because I travel with mine right now, the little bit of bounce is manageable. With the right wood, my grandkids will split for hours! Funny how that used to be a chore in my day ;) Really worth the money! Enjoy….

This product is so easy and convenient. Makes splitting smaller logs so quick, without actually having to get out the ax. I put mine right next to my wood pile, and bolted it to a stump. Makes it very sturdy. Will probably by another one in a bigger size soon. 10/10
