I keep forgetting my keys!! To the point that I resort to begging my neighbor to keep a spare key for me. But I think they have gotten fed up so they have, not so subtly, returned back my key. Which brings me to why I bought this lock. Now as long as I have my fingers or memory, I can still get into my house. The lock is sleek, which is what I wanted. I love that I'm able to get in a variety of ways. So far I've used the key and passcode. I'm not sure about how well biometrics work. I didn't have as good of experiences as other people. The QR codes send me to places that want you to use your credit card info to get a subscription for stuff not related to the lock. I think that is scummy. I can't get the digital keypad to work. I will take another look at it though. I ran out of time. Don't get me wrong it's super cool but I wish I gone with something else. I have a bunch of NFC chips including a ring with a chip inside so I'm going to program that. The touch pad is okay but doesn't always register. It did fit really well through the hole on my door was too small but easy enough to make larger. ... show more

Assembling instruction was clear so it wasn't difficult for me, a woman, to setup. It'd be great if you have someone to help with screwing and checking if it's vertically aligned with the door but it's not required which is nice. What i liked the most about the lock was there are many options given to unlock such as keypad, chip, fingerprint, from the app etc. Battery life is shown on the app so there is no need to worry. After a month or two in it says battery at 100% with no power to fully unlock. It gets stuck in cycle of not unlocking. It would take upwards of of 5 tries to get it unlock if that. Becomes extremely frustrating, why purchase in first place if not useful or if I’m to use a key.

Much easier than using keys. Now we can lock the door remotely if we forget to lock it when we leave or if the kids forget to lock it. Would buy again.
