  • My Leopard Gecko loves these!
Style: Soldierworms Size: 1.2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
used to feed my Leopard Gecko a mix of meal worms, or super worms, and roaches or crickets. My local pet store quit carrying crickets and roaches and practically doubled the price of their worms (50 count for $10). So i ordered a couple cans of these. At first the leo would just look at them and turn away, so i rolled one in calcium powder and he ate it. The next one he almost jumped off the floor of his aquarium to get it. I tong feed him, and now when it's feeding time he loves eating these. He'll eat 5 or 6 at a time before he turns away. Great feeder for your pets that eat insects. And they last in the fridge for a couple weeks if properly sealed. I had one can that the lid was quite loose on, so i used my vacuum sealer to help keep it in the fridge. even then i only kept the can for a few days. seems the worms start to dry out after 3 or 4 days from being opened even in the fridge. ... show more

  • My animals love these!
Style: Soldierworms Size: 1.2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
My birds and reptiles love these canned larvae! The smell isn’t bad and they are easy to feed to my critters. I like to add a bit of calcium powder to the can and shake it up before feeding to my animals for an extra mineral boost and the powder sticks to them very well. No complaints. This is an around great product. ... show more

  • Solder worms not a “hit” with Larry the Lizard.
Style: Soldierworms Size: 1.2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I bought three types of lizard food: Flukers solder worms, crickets, and meal worms. My backyard spiny lizard loved the Flukers meal worms and crickets and would appear in a minute to eat these treats. However, the lizard would not eat the solder worms and I threw them away. The solder worms smell much worse than the crickets and meal worms. I have reordered crickets annd meal worms and Larry the Lizard is happy again. ... show more

  • Great for Bearded Dragons
Style: Soldierworms Size: 1.2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
First of all, not all bearded dragons can be fed anything but live food. It takes time and a lot of patience for some to switch. But, it's totally worth it! Our bearded dragons love these canned soldier worms. We got off of live insects because they can cause allergies, carry parasites, and can bite the beardies. We did use the canned crickets while the beardies were small, but once they were large enough to eat these worms, we introduced them. One beardie took to them immediately devouring them. The other took a couple of days to get used to eating them. But, now eats all that are placed in the dish. If you need to get away from live feeders, these worms are a great option. We do freeze them between feeding after opening. I'm sure you can refrigerate them. But, I have no idea how long they last that way. ... show more

  • Perfect as Emergency Back Up Food
Style: Soldierworms Size: 1.2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
We feed our bearded dragon Black Soldier Fly Larvae as a staple feeder and every once in a while something delays a shipment of them to our house and we are left scrambling for something to feed him. Unfortunately he is afraid of crickets and dubia roaches are very expensive where we live so we were desperate to find something healthy for him to eat when a shipment was held up in the post office for a week longer than expected. We found these at a local pet store and they were a lot better than we had imagined. The "worms" aren't dehydrated and seem to fill him up really quickly. I won't say that he likes them as much as live black soldier fly larvae, but we ordered a few cans as back ups now that we are getting closer to winter. ... show more

  • Healthy alternative to meal worms
Style: Soldierworms Size: 1.2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Both me and my Berber skink aren't too fond of meal worms for different reasons, but soldier worms are roughly the same size as mealworms but have the benefit of a very good Ca:P ratio and lower fat. Some of the best insects you can feed. We both approve! I don't know how long they last in the refrigerator as I froze the extras immediately, but they seem to do fine with freezing and don't turn to mush. (But I do recommend spreading them out while freezing so they don't all stick together in a big block) ... show more
