This was honestly easy to install. There as a video and also a manual to install it. I liked that I was finally able to change my door locks to an electric one. If you're looking for affordable and electronic door locks I totally recommend this. I had a little problem with getting it to work but it eventually came around after I put the cable correctly. It is compatible with my door which was one of the things I was scared about. If you're looking to try keyless locks this is the one. It requires 4 batteries but its not something you need to use a lot so hopefully the battery lasts. Overall this was a great buy ... show more

This was very easy to install. I viewed the installation instruction on the Amazon website before ordering, so I had a heads up on installation. Programming went OK, I didn't follow the instructions the 1st time. After paying closer attention, everything went well. It looks like when the batteries need replaced, I might have to reset the master code and the entry code. We'll see. Just don't throw the instructions away. I put this lock in a couple days ago and am really enjoying it. Very easy to install (was great that I could just take out the old lock and pop this one in). Programming instructions were clear and easy to follow. Love that it also makes a noise if you want it when the code is input or unlocked and looks great on our door. For the cost, this is a nice looking, easy to install electronic lock. It also has some great additional features that are nice to know they are available (such as one time use codes) and holds several codes. Feeling good about this purchase! ... show more

This product is lightweight and modern. It was easy to install and works well for our door. We had no problem instslling this with the detailed instructions provided. There is also a tutorial mini video. Once installed, the product is user friendly. We tested with the universal master codes provided and reprogrammed easily to our new passcode. The manual was very useful and answered all our questions. This keypad is just what we needed. The only reason we gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because some parts are made out of plastic, so it may not provide the strongest possible lock in case someone really wanted to break in. ... show more
