Kerig received with coupons that expired May 2023, a red flag. It would not work, trouble shooting done by manufacturer. Findings were defective purchase with an expired warranty. This happened the day item was received. Asked to send pics of pot with my name, date of purchase on paper in front of pot, model number, copy of proof of purchase, copy of post office tracking and delivery. Told no need to return, trash or recycle. After pics were received, immediately received email the info ie pics were not acceptable. Upon receiving Kerig a replacement would be sent. Followed by request for my physical address (I use PO Box) as UPS would pic item up at place of abode. I then receive email with bar code to use at Staples to return via UPS. So today after inconsistencies I’m going to Stables hopefully for a successful return. Problem is at manufacture in that they mail item not Amazon. They do not check model numbers, warranty expirations, and sell useless items. Poor PR for consumers. Forgot to mention the troubleshooter asked if had K pod in pot. Answered no, and stated per directions one is to first run water through FIRST before making first cup of coffee. Today February 1, 2024 I received email your Kerig is on the way. Unfortunately to physical address and not mailing address. I have PO Box for safety, live in multi apartment building where others take packages of others. This was explained in detail when they requested physical address. First Kerig was mailed to PO Box, so why not replacement?? If it is stolen as many packages are I’m in for more corespondency, and will request refund to charge card used for payment. Replacement Kerig mailed Monday of this week via UPS and received today Wednesday. The coffee maker works fine and I like the upgrade, btw no additional cost. It comes with large water reservoir so no need to add water for each cup. When warm weather come will try ice coffee feature, I’m sure it will work fine too. It took some time to resolve issue but it is now resolved. I would purchase Kerig products again, good maker, and customer support is accommodating.

I have had the Mini Plus for a couple of weeks. I am still learning how to make it work correctly. Sometimes, the water runs out of the reservoir and everything runs smoothly. Other times, there is no brewing. I try to use exactly the right amounts of water, but I think it best to use a bit more than 6 or a bit less than 12 ounces or somewhere in between. The machine seems to be very picky that way. I find that I have to drink the coffee right after it has finished brewing; it cools very quickly without a keep warm feature. I understand that it's size and cost preclude extra features. I I very much like the strong feature, although it does take more time to brew, but that's okay with me. I also find that the coffee splashes on the counter and behind the mug I use. Even after the coffee has brewed, the machine often drips into the bottom tray, even when the pod is removed. Having said all that, I do like the small size of the machine and its overall performance except for its pickiness about the amount of water used. I am hoping that I will adapt to its idiosyncracies very soon. I also like that I ordered it about a month ago, before the price rose changed from 60 dollars to 101 dollars.

Updated review: I dealt with issue explained below In my original review for awhile and then finally got around to calling Keurig Customer Care on 23-July... AWESOME experience! First, expecting to hold 5-10 mins to get thru, nope, they answered immediately! Literally a zero second wait time! Rep was great - feel bad now for not catching her name(or asking again at the end)...she listened to my issue without interrupting me, then asked a few questions/ walked me thru some trouble shooting steps. Then had me “brew” a cup (no pod) and it worked as designed, we waited a couple minutes and “brewed” another...and the issue occurred again...pulled in about an ounce of water and quit. Fast forward the story...my new machine is already being shipped under their warranty! Since we love the machine (slim, easy to put away for those like us who don’t like it on the counter 24x7, and brews a nice hot cup), since they offer great customer service and stand behind their warranty without tons of hoops to jump thru, I’m back to rating as 5 stars. We know plenty of people with various Keurig machines who have never had a problem, so chalking this one I had up as an anomaly. I’ll follow up if any concerns with the replacement. Original Review at 10-months: Purchased 1-Aug-2019 and now in June 2020 we are experiencing issues... it will work fine sometimes but other times it doesn’t. It started in May were it worked 90% of the time but now in June it’s a 50/50 chance. When it doesn’t work, it will only draw in an ounce or two of the water and then just stop. It takes several times of pushing the start/brew button over 15-20 minutes before it pulls in all the water, heats up and dispenses. The last two mornings this issues started with the very first brew of the day. And 20+ minutes later when it did finally dispense, it was only a half cup (but all of the water had finally been drawn into the unit). When it works properly we love it. Easy to use and clean. But it appears that the overall quality - in terms of longevity - isn’t there. Maybe we just got a bad one, so watch for other reviews provide at/near the 1 year mark, because 3 months in I would have highly recommended this model.... now I’m backing away from that recommendation unfortunately.

Absolutely terrible and Amazon would not guarantee. I purchased this in Feb for a gift for my son. Gave it to him in June when he moved into his apartment. He tried to used it and from the first try it did not work. Contacted customer service at Keurig and they had me send photo of serial number and proof of purchase. Keurig said they would not honor the warranty because the serial number was not legitimate and seller was unauthorized. It is fraud if Amazon is selling products that do not have legitimate serial numbers. Very disappointed in Amazon. Contacted Amazon and they refused to make it right by allowing a return and issuing a refund. Edited: After persistence, Amazon issued Amazon credit for the Keurig. Thank you to Ashley at Amazon who made this right.

Another Edit: Contacted Keurig to get a FOURTH replacement because they won't give me a refund. After jumping through a ridiculous amount of hoops, and at one point they wouldn't even send a replacement, I had to go through the troubleshooting again and when it didn't work, she agreed to send a replacement. Then she wanted the order number, which I had already given her, so she said she wanted to order number from Keurig. I DON'T HAVE AN ORDER NUMBER FROM KEURIG!!! I didn't order it from Keurig. I ordered it from Amazon so now she said they can't send me a replacement. I finally screamed at her and hung up. Worst company in the world, besides the fact that it is extremely difficult to understand the rep. I had to repeatedly ask her to repeat what she said. Sometimes, I could only understand maybe one out of ten words and then try to decipher what she said. I can't say enough bad things about Keurig. I offered to send all three back, just for the record. I highly recommend the Ninja single serve that uses K-cups plus it has a basket that you can use ground coffee. I freaking love it. Thanks to my wonderful, generous niece who heard my story about the Keurig and got me the Ninja at Christmas. I am in love and will never buy another Keurig product. Edit: third coffee pot they sent still does the same thing. Works a few times, then it won't for about 10-12 times. Worst piece of cr@p I've ever bought in my life. I don't see.the point in getting a 4th one. Sick of this. The first one I received would occasionaly work but many times not until running it thru the steps six times, then it would finally brew. Was sent a replacement and it had the same issue tho not as frequently. Just received another replacement and it worked on the first try but don't know of it will continue. Also, the "strong" brew button doesn't seem to have any effect on any of the 3 machines. Wanted to replace my larger original 2.0 machine because I don't like the fact that you can't drain the water out to clean it. The single serve doesn't hold water inside of it but it also doesn't brew all of the time. I have spent as long as half an hour repeating the process without it ever heating the water. It empties the reservoir and then just sits there until it turns off. If this third one has the same issue, I might take a hammer to it and smash it to smithereens. And customer service is extremely difficult to understand. Had to keep asking her over and over to repeat what she said. Some of it I never figured out. Frustrating.

I had a Keurig Mini that served me well for 10+ years, but a couple of months ago it became clear that our time together had come to an end. I started shopping for a replacement and that's when I discovered this Mini Plus. Reviews were mixed, but I was intrigued. I did some more reading and after much debate I decided to take a chance and purchase the Mini Plus rather than buying another tried and true Mini. Am I ever glad I did! Things that I love about the Mini+: 1. Like most people (I assume), I keep this tucked to the back of my counter under my kitchen cabinets until it's time to use it. The Mini has grippers on the bottom that prevent it from easily sliding across the counter top. It's not a big deal, but this Mini+ doesn't have the grippers and it turns out that I really like being able to just SLIDE my coffee maker to me. 2. The water reservoir on this machine is 12oz. If memory serves, the Mini has a 10oz reservoir. This means 20% more fresh brew in my cup every morning. How is this not a great thing??? 3. The water reservoir is removable so you can fill it from your mug or you can fill it from the sink. Who doesn't like options? 4. The water reservoir is only as big as the internal tank so you can't overfill it. If I had a dollar for every time I overfilled my Mini only to have the water run down into the overflow tray below, I could buy myself a lifetime supply of K-cups. Not anymore. 5. It has an option for strong brew. Can I get a hallelujah? When I'm brewing over ice I always use this feature. 6. The Mini+ is taller than the Mini which means that none of my mugs are too tall. Every coffee mug I have fits, without having to remove the drip tray. I love this. In addition, when I remove the tray it can actually fit my travel mug. No more brewing into a mug and then transferring to the travel mug. (And no more spilling coffee in this process, because invariably I would.) 7. The Mini+ is taller and thinner than the Mini, making better use of the prime real estate on my countertop. 8. Although I haven't traveled with it yet, I can. It has cord storage in the back, and removable K-cup storage in the front making it pretty darned convenient to bring with you. All in all I think this is a great machine. Keurig improved on a whole bunch of things that I didn't know I didn't like, until I had the opportunity to use something better. My Mini and I were good friends for a long time, but I anticipate that the Mini+ and I will have a very beautiful future together. :) Try it - I think you'll like it!
