The short answer: For the money, it's a BUY. The long answer: I open the box, take out the pieces and it just felt like cheaply made-the handle, the attachments, no thx, we're sending this back. Then my significant other says well it's a lot lighter than our old 19 lb behemoth, so let's give it a try. Ok fine. WOW, what great suction. We have 2 medium size parrots with 2 cages that sit on an old shag carpet to catch all if their stray seeds. Works great for that. The only con is it will pull you forward like a self propelled mower which could be a problem if you have shoulder or mobility issues. Pros: Great suction, easy on/off power button that switches to carpet or bare floors with a finger flick, nice long cord length, it swivels, narrower head that gets into tighter spaces, easy ejection canister, HEPA filter (we have allergies). Cons: It won't reach under the beds (but that's ok since it's not designed for that) and just 2 attachments. OVERALL, no real complaints. ... show more

I don’t write reviews often but I felt this vacuum deserved one. After having a dyson v7 vacuum for three years at which point it got knocked over and the canister busted 😠 I had to get a new vacuum. We have shag rugs and high pile, padded carpet as well as hardwood floors so I went online and researched vacuums that wouldn’t get stuck on my padded carpet. This kenmore was 4th on the list I found with a great rep for picking up hair (we have 5 daughters🙄) and was less than $200 so I figured I’d give it a shot. SO GLAD I DID!!! Handing over $400-$600 for a top brand vacuum is a real pain and this vacuum does an excellent job. The pictures are after the 1st, 2nd and 3rd run on my shag carpet😲🤢 Its pretty lightweight and I love the height adjustment feature so I can really get the best clean on all surfaces. For the price it certainly delivers. Only thing that would make it better is if it the canister was portable for more versatile cleaning jobs. But the attachments work well. ... show more

We have one room with carpet in our house so I use my Dyson canister vac daily. Besides cleaning the carpet so well, I use this on the couches and our many cat trees. It is amazing. It sucks up the cat hair amazingly well. So much better than the Dyson canister with the attachments. It saves me a lot of time. It has to be the best vacuum I’ve ever purchased as far as suction goes. I did try this on the bare floors and it didn’t work so great. I think there is a design flaw- the exhaust is in the front so it would blow the cat hair away from the vacuum before sucking it up. The other feature that I didn’t care for is this suction adjustment. I think it is in a bad spot. Using the attachments it is in the location where you hold it, often sliding it open. If you are doing carpet and furniture you will not be disappointed. I kept it just for that reason! ... show more

I don’t know how many different brands and types of vacuums (including Dyson bagless and cordless types) I have had, but have never found one with the right amount of suction where I felt my carpets were really clean. This one has suction galore- at the bottom, in front and from the side. You can see it pulling from all directions. At first I thought the more narrow width of the head would be a minus- but it’s really a plus. The head swivels and you can easily get into places where I couldn’t with other sweepers. I like that it’s bagless so no extra money to spend on bags. The only downside is it is a bit heavy. I am in my 60’s and have back issues. If I do the whole house at once, I pay for it a little. But I try to do a little at a time because I think it’s worth it. My carpets look clean longer. ... show more

    • OVER PRICED CHEAP VACUUM

I purchased on 8-1-23. As I put the vacuum together I could see that it was much smaller than I was excepting and the quality was lacking. I was not impressed with the 3 in 1 combo tool. It is small and made of plastic. I had trouble keeping it locked in place in order to use the crevice tool (it is almost impossible to get it to store on the vacuum) 1 of the selling points in that the handle lowers so you can get into tight spaces (under a coffee table or bed) however the dust bin won't allow the vacuum to do these things. You can position the handle as low as you want but that dust bin hits the bed frame. It comes with 2 attachments that don't store on the vacuum. I wanted to like this vacuum but every time I used it I liked it less and less. Plus I thought that it was overpriced for what it is. Today the brush roller quit turning. It might be the belt I'm not sure because you have to remove 6 screws to get to the belt. That was the final straw for me! So, after having this vacuum for 2 weeks I am returning it. I bought this because of the name. I was not impressed. I went from a shark to a bissell and the only reason is because Bissell’s belt keeps burning up and I am replacing it every few weeks. This one has zero automatic pull so you are doing all the pushing and pulling. The suction is mediocre and doesn’t get as much as the shark or bissell. It is lightweight, easy to assemble. I’ll be returning it and buying something better ... show more

This is a lightweight, perfect vacuum! Did a fantastic job cleaning my carpet. I have two cats & it picked up all the hair from them. Easy to use & steer around furniture. Cord could be a little longer but is adequate for a nice size room. Very happy with it!
