I absolutely love this machine. I've had it 2 years and it's so easy to use because of the suction and how light it is. I use it multiple times a day because I hate tracking cat litter everywhere and it's perfect for quick sweeps. Admittedly I do have finished concrete floors and low pile carpet, but I really think it would do well with higher carpets too. And it holds a charge for a long time. I probably use it 5 min a day at least with another day for longer vacuuming chores and I think I charge it once a week... Also very easy to clean!

Really sweet little vacuum for a pretty good price. The filter and dust bin pieces come out super easily to get clean and the seals are great. Longer strings and hair will wrap around the metal cover for the filter but the blue partcomes out to get that off. The bottom roller also comes out easily to clean and cut strings as needed. The charge lasts a pretty long time (can cover a one bedroom apartment 3 times over before I have to charge it again). The bin does need to be emptied quite often but it gets so much dirt and pet hair out of the carpet it’s worth it. Overall great quality and worth the purchase. I think it works better than my previous Dyson cordless vacuum at a way more affordable price. Update - 2 years later: I’m still loving this little vacuum, I put it through the ringer moving from a small apartment to a 2,000 sqft house with dogs and cats leaving fur everywhere. I’ve run a dog boarding and doggy day care business out of my home for over a year now and the vacuum has been my little savior for all of the hair and messes. Mine is probably reaching more towards the end of its life from over use and the fact that my housemates decided to clean up spilt cat litter with it. (I avoid cat litter with this since I worry about the fine particles passing through the filter over time and cat litter clay dust can’t really be blown out of the motor.) I still love my vacuum and use it for floating fluff balls, tracked dirt, and crumbs. It’s still doing well for the most part and I will most certainly be keeping it for the smaller messes even though I will now have another larger vacuum too. This was totally worth the purchase price for me even if I’ve worked the thing to its golden era. For how easy it is to clean and the quality of the product. Still recommend 2 years later.

Update: Not even a full year and this thing has stopped working. The bottom piece is no longer "talking" to the top piece. Nothing blocking or jammed it just stopped working. If you disconnect that piece the rest of the unit works. What a waste of money. Even with a warranty they charge more than the original cost of the new vacuum to fix and they need the whole unit shipped back? That's bananas. We have a smallish 2 br apartment (780 sq ft) and this works great for us. One kid and one cat, this thing thing keeps up. Sucks up chip crumbs as good as it sucks up cat hair. Lol. I can use it for a few days on one charge. That might not be the same for everyone. It charges decently fast, usually within an hour. I chucked our broom into storage since this little machine does such a great job on tile/laminate and wood floors. The bedrooms have medium pile carpet, thankfully, this does a good job on them in high mode. Might not do as well on thick high pile carpets. It auto shuts off if something gets sucked in and stuck... Like a sock or stuffed mouse. I love this feature. Easy to clean and use. Very light weight. The recharge cord is pretty long so that is a huge plus. Where i mounted the base was not super close to an outlet so it's nice that the cord is extra long. I don't have stairs but i could see this being easy to use on stairs.

I have used this stick vacuum daily. Sometimes recharging it 2 to three times a day. It is light weight and convenient and easy to take apart to clean. I have 5 indoor dogs so I need all the help I can get! Between this vacuum, 2 Roomba's and a big, heavy Hoover pet vacuum I can sometimes stay ahead of the hair and dirt. I am really disappointed that I didn't pay attention when I purchased this vac that the unit is sealed and there is no way to replace the battery. After reliable, daily use I noticed the vacuum is loosing it's charge more quickly then it did when it was new so when the battery dies this wonderful vacuum will have to be thrown into the trash and into a landfill. More plastic!! When this dies I will be purchasing the comparable Black and Decker with the removable, rechargeable, replaceable battery. The price is about the same and the B&D battery fits my drill and other small tools. As much as I vacuum I have to have a lightweight unit but I am not going to keep throwing them away over a battery. So wasteful. Surprised Kenmore would have such a built in design flaw.

The media could not be loaded. 5/18/2021 I just received the vacuum and first off, I love that it comes pretty much ready to use. Mine was charged and I just had to connect the pieces and it was ready to go. I love how small and how much it DOESN’T weigh. It’s really easy to handle and maneuver around furniture and corners. It’s great on the carpet but on the floor it may still need a little more suction. It will pick up a lot of dust and bigger stuff, but I’d have to sweep and mop to get all the little dust off the floors. So no biggie! I did struggle a little with the dust cup. It was suctioned and stuck. Had to open the filter area and push out the lid. Struggled a little but got it open and didn’t break anything. So, I’ll keep “playing” with it and if there is anything I see I’ll update. Another thing I wanted to point out. The comment from that person with the napkin in the dust cup, you are able to open the filter compartment and pull out that part to have more access to the dust cup itself. I added a video. The playback was a little weird. But I disassembled and assembled it so you can see. Hope that helps.
