Once you get used to using this the thing never fails. I have a fleet of vehicles both gas a d diesel and its literally never failed me 1 time. This unit quickly recharges itself, even from the same low battery that needs a jump start! Then it gives plenty of cranking power. As they advertise, you could jump start every car in the parking lot. And it's got super capacitors, which are not likely a fire hazard like lithium ion batteries. They should last much longer too. $300 is a high price, I waited and got it on sale for $200.

I have a lithium battery starter I purchased before this, but after watching a review by Project Farm to see what’s new in the world of jump packs, I decided on this. It did the best in the cold when frozen, and some jump packs died, I suggest watching to learn more. This cranked the fastest when cold, but it was close for battery packs that cost as much as this or more. The reason I want both, is so I can charge the capacitor jump pack with the lithium pack if my vehicle battery is totally dead. If the battery has a decent charge, but not enough to start the vehicle, that same battery can charge this capacitive jump pack and still start the vehicle. Interior box had a small puncture but outside shipping box was undamaged and the unit appears undamaged and charges quickly with an iPad charger. Very nice construction and seems like it should last the 10 years advertised. Jump packs? 4 years at best. I just wish this came with a case, as it sure would be nice to have one. This was an expensive purchase for me, but once I saw it work on video, and understood the value, I wanted one. Tow truck jumps aren’t cheap, not to mention the wait, so it was an easy decision. Watch that video, you may come to the same decision I did.

I love this jump starter. First time I used it was on my 7.3 liter diesel truck. The truck was showing 10.7 volts and the engine barely once turned over. I took the jumper from the box and hooked it to the truck. It only took the booster about 3 minutes to charge to 100%. At first I didn’t realize that I needed to push the button on the booster so nothing happened. Once I pushed the button, I was able to start the engine. It spun the engine over like it had two brand new batteries in it. This is well worth it, especially since you never have to worry about keeping it charged.

My husband charged it for a full 12 hours, went to use it to start up a lawn mower..and the first try didn't turn the engine over so he went to use it again and the jumper pack was already dead ..this happened 3 times over 5 days before finally deciding to return this product. Would not recommend

This unit was a lifesaver, just this month I went out to leave for a dentist appointment and the car would not start. While I have jumper cables in the car, finding someone to assist is challenging. This unit easily connected to the positive and negative battery terminals in the car without having to struggle for a solid mechanical connection. The included instructions were straight forward and following them I pressed the power button and the display on the unit confirmed a full boost was in process. I hopped in the car and I started on the first try (it was wonderful to hear my 5.7L V8 running as it is supposed to). Recharging the unit was simple as well, using the included USB charging cable, it took a bout 4 hours for the recharge to complete.

I've been having trouble with several of my cars maintaining the batteries. My 1998 Silverado was left at my summer home and the battery would get so low that it would set off the car alarm. I charged the KeenPower off the dead battery and jumped the truck which started Immediately. I ran the truck for a few minutes, shut it off and tried to restart it without any luck. I recharged the KeenPower off the dead battery in three minutes and started the truck again. The truck battery can't keep a charge so I'll have to replace it. I also have a boat with twin crusader 200s that I haven't used since August on a mooring. Both starter batteries were dead and couldn't even run the bilge pumps. I turned over the first engine with the KeenPower but couldn't start it in the 25 seconds of discharge. I recharged it off the boat battery and started it on the second attempt. I recharged it again and started the second motor after two attempts. I really don't care what the critics and nay Sayers think about the KeenPower. I've never had a piece of equipment do what this thing did to my truck and my boat. No one in the boat yard could believe I could start the engines without having the boat towed to the dock. And by the way I also charge my cell phone to 80% capacity recharged the KeenPower and then charged the phone up to 100%.
