We bought this to keep cool between games at soccer tournaments. It comes in a carrying case with wheels, so it is easy to transport from vehicle to the fields even for longer distances. We were able to set it up in just a few minutes. It has red buttons on each brace support to lock it into place and it included sandbags and stakes to further secure it if necessary. The fabric is thick and strong and the color true to the picture. We like that it is on the larger size (10x10). It offered plenty of room for not just out family, but also several teammates. I recently purchased a home and ordered this item for housewarming party. This canopy helped us for dinner party in Hot weather. It is very easy to assemble in backyard or anywhere you want. Easy to carry. Dark blue color looks very good. Material is very robust and It can sustain in high wind situation. The canopy size is more than enough for our usecase.     • Better Than Expected -- Seems Quite Sturdy
I have had several canopy tents, both professional ones for work that cost hundreds of dollars and cheap ones that lasted only a few months. This one was surprisingly more sturdy than I expected. First, the cover comes with wheels that makes it much easier to lug around. I also like that it came with sandbags (sand not included). It also has tie-down ropes attached to each corner with included stakes to put at the end of the tie-down ropes, as well as into the holes at the bottom of each leg. As I mentioned, previous cheaply-made tents didn't last very long and it was apparent it would be the case when I opened them... not this one! I can tell this one is much more sturdier than those. I have been able to set up previous tents alone (one person)... not this one. It took two people to finish the setup--I suppose a testimony to its sturdiness, and hopefully durability and longevity. I would recommend this Canopy Tent, but be sure to buy it from the maker, Kampkeeper, and not a third-party seller. The only think I may have done differently would have been to purchase the one with built-in bug screens; I guess I can always add some on (make does seem to sell the separately, though). ... show more

I mainly got this because in the description it says WATERPROOF. It is not, at all. First when pulling it out of the bag I could tell this was not made like my older one from a different company that lasted 12 years. The legs are flimsy. It is difficult for one person to put the canopy on the structure and impossible for one person to open it. The material seems pretty durable but is extreamly tight on the structure when open. Not sure how long this will last before it rips but will see. We put this on our deck and and mounted it with screws. First rain we had I noticed that it is dripping in several areas. Extreamly disappointed. I guess I will be taking it down and purchasing some ScotchGard to see if that helps. Do not recommend you can spend less money for what you get here. UPDATE: I reduced this from 2 stars to 1 because the company reached out to me and tried to bribe me into removing my review. Since them the tarp has also faded badly and torn in 2 places. Heads up that I received this item through the Amazon Vine program. The first item i received had a damaged bag, so i reached out to the seller to see if they could replace just the bag. unfortunately that wasnt possible so i had to do a return but that happened smoothly. When i saw this item i was pretty excited about it, what a brilliant idea. I have a 10x10 canopy and i always take it camping with me so bringing the side tent is a neat solution that could save space overall. Im pleased to say that the bag appears to have some extra room in it, so that it will actually fit back into the bag when im done with it. the instructions are sewn into the bag, but i went ahead without them anyway. I can say that this works exactly how you would imagine. I had my canopy at the tallest setting and it fits well. There are possibilities for how to clip the tent to the inside of the canopy, I went with attaching them to the adjacent sides (see picture) to get things pulled a bit tighter and keeping the height. Where I found some problems were: 1) The included poles seem to be a shade too long. If you install them vertically, the back edge of the tent is nice and high, but that creates a flat spot on the roof of the tent (which cant be good when the rain comes). I found that i could keep the gradient on the roof if i installed the bars at and angle (see picture). The seller picture must be blowing a fan into the tent, it doesnt puff up like that. 2) the tent would benefit from having more points to attach pegs, in particular under the door (either side would be ideal), but weirdly there are no peg loops on the door side except in the corners. 3) The sleeping quarters could be larger, I say this becasue you HAVE to install the guy lines beyond the footprint of the tent to make it stand up with the poles. So, the tent COULD be larger, it could actually just be a triangle that reaches from the top of the canopy to the floor without poles and without guy ropes and that would give you more floor space and do away with the flat-roof issues. but it isnt that. I score it as 3.5 stars, rounded to 4. the concept is fabulous, the quality of the tent is good, but i think it has missed a few little details in design. UPDATE: I dropped it down to 3 stars because i left this up in some 'light' rain (i mean light rain too). I thought it would be interesting to see what happened, and unfortunately it is a bit disappointing. Water was pooled on the flat roof, and water was inside the tent. It appears to have come in through the window on the back or through the roof itself. The result is that this is relegated to a fair-weather-only tent which reduces its usefulness. ... show more
