The head has some loose play (moves back and forth), but should do the job scraping weeds out of gravel. Will edit review after using it. Works fine so far, made short work of my new little garden patch which was thoroughly weed-choked. A note to those complaining about the loose hoe-head, a hula hoe is SUPPOSED to have a slightly loose head, which really helps the action when used properly. I actually wish there was bit more play in the head. But it's well worth the money spent, & when used correctly will help keep your garden free of weeds. ... show more

The saddle is loose and can hear it rattle. I don't know if the looseness will affect the performance later on. Otherwise it works. I priced with the Husky in HomeDepot and Amazon is priced way lower.

Hula Hoe, Who Would've known!? I have an uneven brick patio that has been neglected for years. there is about 1" of soil and grass/weeds growing on it adn between the bricks. I just got my tool yesterday and tried it for about 10 minutes. I got 1/2 the patio (15x15') scraped. I just need to use a scoop shovel or the Power washer to send all those weeds/dirt off into the yard! I had been using a flat shovel to try to pry up the dirt. Took forever and killed my back! Definitely glad I got the 73" model. I'm 5'5", but did not want to hurt my back. I am so impressed this works so well! Don't hesitate, get it with Prime, try it...I doubt you will send it back! Can't wait to try it on a little strip of ground I'm going to put a garden this year! WOW! ... show more

The handle is long,so, no bending over. However, the blade isn't very sharp which makes you have to chop VERY HARD to get the weeds.

If youโ€™re getting one of these, make sure to adequately water the area before using this tool. The hollow pole isnโ€™t very sturdy and can be bent if thereโ€™s too much stress/resistance from the weeds and/or soil. One section of my pole bent after 15min of use. As the pole comes in multiple sections, I removed that section and was still able to use the tool. Luckily I bought the longer pole. Okay for the price however Iโ€™m having to be conscience not to go too hard with it when hitting a spot of weeds/soil that has a lot of resistance. ... show more

Great and does the job... made quick work of my weeds... blades are 2 sided and pretty sharp.. there where some who reviewed this and said the screws were loose, so before I started I just tightened them.. the only down side would be the rod... if you much too much pressure on it.. it will start to bend and warp a bit.. but other than that it's exactly what I needed.. I did what was in the photos in less than 25 mins.. ... show more
