  • So easy to put up!
We are planning our first family camping trip with a toddler, so wanted something spacious and comfortable. This tent arrived within 2 days of ordering and we did a practice set up immediately. It was unbelievably easy! It took 2 of us about 20 minutes, but I think will be faster next time. It was just as easy to take down. Inside feels spacious and has great head room. We love being able to stand up straight (6'1) in the main section. It was also cold and windy when we did our practice set up and it shielded us well! We can't wait to use it for real! ... show more

  • Big and easy
This is a fantastic tent! The directions on the tent bag lack a bit of detail on how to set up, at least for me. Watch one of their videos and set up will be a breeze. The first time I set it up with my "helpers" (6 year old daughter and 70 year old mother). I got it fully up in less than 5 minutes. It took maybe 7 minutes to get it down and repacked. Speaking of which, I love that the bag has the expandable zipper to give you more room to get the tent packed back inside. It is hard to get all the air out, and with the poles attached I didn't want to put a lot of pressure on it to force all the air out. Those extra couple of inches the bag gives you made the all the difference in getting the tent to fit back in all nice and tidy . I'll be taking it for a two week, eight campground workout in June and will update how it works in real life. But based on the trial run in the from yard, I'm in love with it's size and ease of use. We are back from our two week, whirlwind camping tour and I'm in love with this tent! So easy to set up and break down when we just had an overnight stop, but big and roomy when we had an extended stay. The tent held up amazing in high wind, which I was honestly surprised about. Fantastic buy!!!!! ... show more

  • Glad I bought this tent
I got the tent a week ago wondering if the reviews I read were true. We took it out this weekend for 5 days of Sun, pouring rain a little snow and 30mph wind gusts with 20mph winds for 36 hours. The tent did great, not one drop of water got in and it rained hard. The wind gusts trashed a tarp we had setup but the tent held perfect. It has small stakes and I can't believe they held. I will bring bigger stakes next time for insurance. I opened this out of the box at camp by my self, it said 2 people to set up, but I did it by myself and it was pretty easy. Cons: if you think it will go back in the bag it came with I am a monkeys uncle! It says it sleeps eleven people? You could sleep 6 uncomfortable 4 good. I would buy again. ... show more

  • Stood up to wind, rain, and hail.
Overall I like this tent. Its big enough for me to stand up in and I'm 6'6" I was able to easily fit 2 single air mattresses and a queen size in it with plenty of room for more. It is very easy to set up, but the claims of being able to do it in 5 minutes is exaggerated in my opinion. It's also easy to store back up, without having to stuff and smash too much. It stood up to a surprise rain and hail storm with out any issues. It took severe wind without any problems. My only complaint is how thin the material is. The bottom has a few holes in it from after one use from little twigs and sticks. The walls and roof are so thin they're almost see through and I got a little sunburned while napping inside of it. ... show more

  • dry tent, sleeps 3 queen mattresses
so I've had this set up in northern illinois now for a week. we have had 3 to 4 days of rain per week here. I can't believe this tent is still dry. You can fit a queen in the "spare" bedroom and a couple more queens end to end in the large room (which can be devided by the fabric provided. I dont know how on earth you would sleep 11, but you know... thats how they label these tents. It took my bf and I 2 minutes to set up the main tent and a couple more to do the rain fly and stake it down. I do like the awning but it really has to be stakes and guyed out properly. I thought there would be an overhead gear net but there was not. I shall make one. lots of loops to hang lanterns and stuff on. If you're gonna put a tent this large in the wind make sure you stake it and guy it out properly and keep all your wind facing windows closed. it's a very large tent. overall very happy with it. kinda surprised but then again outdoor trail has never let me down. ... show more

  • Integrated tent poles are weak and break easily.
I purchased this tent as a replacement to my 18 yr old Coleman Weathermaster tent. Our family has grown and we needed the extra room. I spent a lot of time considering simply purchasing the 10 person version of the Coleman but this Ozark Trail had the third small room which seemed like a nice fit for my two older kids. When I received the tent I set it up in our backyard to make sure everything worked and that I could set it up without any trouble. After decades of camping I know that Murphy's Law prevails. The tent went up okay and folded back into the bag okay but I was a little concerned that the integrated poles would become a weak link down the road as the hollow poles are made with very thin metal, and they have plastic joints. A week later we took the tent out on our first trip since having our one year old son. Upon arrival I started to set up the tent. Following the instructions I laid the tent out and unfolded the integrated poles etc. As we raised the tent one of the poles was slightly out of alignment and started to bend under the weight of the tent. We laid the tent back down and found a tear starting in the metal where the thin outer of the pole met the plastic joint. As I carefully put it back into alignment it broke completely, rendering the tent useless. My wife made the four hour trip to retrieve our old Weathermaster, and I kept the kids busy in our campsite. If you plan on camping more than once, I recommend a better brand with better quality components. ... show more

  • Buy this tent!
This tent was perfect for our family camping trip! It comfortably fit 2 twin beds, tall queen bed, and 2 dog beds, with room to spare! Plenty of clips for fans, lights, dog leashes, and twinkle lights. Windows are great and allowed us to full enjoy our view. We did not seal our tent and got caught in an epic rain storm. Not a leak found! Set up and take down are beyond easy. So happy with this purchase! ... show more
