What a great tent, we are very impressed. It was so easily set up and took us like no time at all. We did upgrade the tent stakes as the ones it came with were thin and easily bent. The ropes that were provided seem very sturdy. Once we put it up we wet it 4 times over the course of a week to aid in the waterproofing. The first wetting it had minimal leaving and by the 4th there was zero water coming in and we really hosed it down. We didn't need a wood stove hole as we use propane for heat which we use in our home when not burning the wood burner. We just went camping with it and again, super easy to set up and take down. For the money, this tent was superb...no need to spend $1000 on a tent. Edit..... We love love love our tent. It's got a big footprint so we have to do research for what campsite will fit us. ... show more

Awesome tent. Tons of space, and great looking, and so easy to set up. So much faster than some of my other big tents. When it's time to replace those, I'll be getting more of these.

I am very familiar with this type of tent and even with the increased weight I believe it is a good trade off as it is tougher and more resilient than pretty much any nylon based tent I have ever used. One thing to note, the weight listed in the description is way off. Description lists the weight at 1.2 pounds and this one weighs in at a bit over 60. So bear that in mind when planning your camping location. ... show more

Layer down 20 wood pallets as a platform. Put up pole and tied down guy wires by myself. Put in queen bed. Desk, a low Japanese style table and Hawaiian carpets. Waterproof and quite wind resistant to 30mph… a dream house with a view

Setup was pretty fast. Center pole is good quality- it won't bend unless you try pretty hard to damage it. Floor is very thick. Great purchase!

Staying in this tent full time in Pattison TX since January of this year and now it’s March almost April and this tent has survived strong bipolar country wind, hard rain for couple of days and freezing cold weather and scorching 97 degree spring heat and YET this tent provide shelter and stood strong!
