This Blood Glucose Monitor Kit is convenient and easy to use at home. The meter gives quick and accurate readings, and the included lancing device is simple to handle.For the price, this is an amazing device, as it comes with 100 test strips and 100 lancets .If you were going camping, or on a trip somewhere that you might lose or damage your regular meter, this may be a good choice. We liked that there was no coding required. We found the information on how to set the meter better in this product description page than in the manual that came with the meter. The case is handy. I recommend this glucometer.

The price was quite good, but I'm not too happy otherwise. 1) The lancet is not usable. I can only get an adeuate sample once in a while. Can barely draw blood even when using the deepest setting. I'm now using the lancet from previous/different brand. 2) Results vary much more than the unit I'm replacing, but generally average at similar readings. This is doing multiple readings in one setting on both this monitor and the one its replacing. 3) I was pretty discouraged with this monitor at first. The results were all over the place, until I found that the amount of blood needed for best reading seems to be considerably more than my old unit.
