These half round pans fit perfectly on your round kamado style grill. They can also work on your gas grill or a Webber. Light weight carbon steal but acts like cast iron. The solid pan is excellent for searing scallops, fish, steaks and blistering tomatoes . The perforated pan is great for roasting vegetables. This is my second set of pans. Because I have several grills, I needed more pans when I grill for picnics. The first set I purchased from the official web site, and the second set I purchased from Amazon, which was slightly cheaper. Over all, I think they are expensive for what they are, but they are carbon steal and should last a lifetime with proper care. ... show more

I feel like a traitor (don't tell anyone) for using these on my Big Green Egg, but I find the carbon steel to be much easier to clean and lower maintenance than other cast iron pan options. Of course they are good for veggies and all kinds of smaller, more delicate items you don't want to stick or fall through the grates, but they are also very versatile. Two of the more less expected uses for these pans that I did not anticipate, but use them for all the time, are for pizzas and making breakfast over a charcoal fire. Frying bacon is a no brainer, to keep all the grease off the fire. I was pleasantly surprised how awesome the solid bottom pan was for deep dish pizza or even Detroit Style, if you can get over a "D" shaped pie. When you think about it; a "D" shaped pie actually makes sense for Detroit Style! ... show more

Overall pleased, initial seasoning took longer than expected but end result worth it. Love the way it allows for versatility when cooking on the Kamado joe- protein and veggie sides easy to do, will keep heat out of the kitchen this summer for sure. Highly recommend.

    • Sticks your vegetables
I have seasoned them according to the instructions 3 times at 400 F on the oven for 1 hr each time. Get to the grill and all the veggies got stuck and do not come out. Not good for cooking when compared to well seasoned cast iron.
