This product is so well made it should last a very long time. You can grill, smoke, roast and do about anything with it. The contained chamber with vents allow you to precisely adjust the heat from 225 to 750 degresss Fahrenheit. Almost all accessories are included in the initial item purchase, One additional Item I bought and recommend if you like smoking meat etc a lot is the slo-roller smoker. The cooker is aluminum with a ceramic fire box. This grill is far superior to the char grill and many like it. I banked the the coals after I was done with it and the next morning it was still warm enough to fry bacon and make scrambled eggs.

I’ve cooked nearly 100 times on this absolutely brilliantly designed grill. If I were in a bbq competition this would win the money. My go to when I need the best results. Side note: All other grills should be embarrassed when comparing lid gaskets. The best out there hands down.

VM Innovations provides the product and I got my Joe with a broken latch. Looked like they sent me a grill that was opened before I received it. Don't recommend buying from them. They did get me a replacement latch however at this price point, there's no excuse for a damaged product/pre opened product. As for the Kamado Joe Grill - it's amazing and highly recommend their grills. It's easy to use, well designed, and thought out. The tools that come with it are very helpful. All in a all a wonderful product! If you buy the Big Joe, plan to have a few really strong people available to put it in the base. ... show more
