We loved this unit immediately for its air-frying feature. We had a PowerXL before, which only lasted 2 years. The food never got as crispy as this Kaloric. Unfortunately, after a month the unit stopped working. I contacted Kaloric since we were just past the return window on Amazon, and they handled our replacement very quickly. Hopefully this one lasts a long time because it gets a LOT of use, we really do like it. You will have to get special size pans because of the cube shape.

I received two books, 1 operators manual with recipes, and one just recipes , both with steak recipes, instructions for same but the rack positions are different and the descriptions of the racks are different. ??

I was worried ordering this after reading some reviews but I must write I am very happy with it. Perfect size for a single person or couple. Looks small on outside but inside it is larger and roomy. Make sure you read manual and before using run it for 20 minutes on steak setting. It runs quiet and does not smoke. If it does you may have a defective unit or you didn’t clean it well inside. Looks very nice on counter and doesn’t take up a lot of space. I decided to buy this instead of a microwave or toaster oven and I am very happy I made right choice. I use it for bagels and reheating leftovers. I’ll add more to this review in time when I begin cooking other stuff like fries and chicken.

This is a good size and has nice accessories , but no pre-heat and hard to set your time and temp on the right setting for cooking needs. W/O pre-heat you have to allow extra time to whatever your cooking. Basically your guessing!

We really did enjoy using this machine, it worked great! Just after one year, it completely died. Wouldn't turn on or anything. Of course, it only has a one year warranty. We're really bummed.

The glass window is nice so you don't burn food like I did with my basket type air fryer. Cooking volume isn't amazing, but it works plenty for me and my roommates.
