I own four dogs. one puppy two teenagers and one senior dog and they all absolutely love this food. we switched from blue buffalo to Health extension and the bulldogs itching has all but vanished.

I know why they make 1lb bags: if you give this to your dog to taste test it will beat out most other dry foods. I gave my dog seven varieties of food to try and he preferred the taste of this one. He's been eating it for over a year and has healthy stool, never has gas, and continues to be enthusiastic at meal time. When a warning from the FDA came out in 2019 that some foods might cause the heart problem DCM, I had a puppy transitioning to adult food, so I wanted to choose new food that would avoid the ingredient mixes that might be the cause, that meant avoiding legume protein and shying away from totally grain-free food, this is one of those foods. This dry food has the top level ingredients, protein and fat portions my vet recommends. ... show more
