We got this little ukulele for our storytime songs. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality. It's a solid little instrument! The finish is beautiful and lots of fun. If you are deciding between a no name brand and Kala definitely spend the extra 10 or 20 bucks and go with Kala. This is a beautiful, well-made ukulele that feels good in your hands while you are playing it. I loved the idea of a sparkly ukulele and I was not disappointed, with its red glitter finish. Beautiful ukelele that I purchased for my son. The packaging was less then desirable, flimsy box that wasn’t even taped shut but the ukelele was in great condition. If getting this for a gift be mindful that the content item is displayed on the box. It’s been a few months now and there is a chip in the paint but it does belong to a child (although he cares for It well). Beautiful sound and he receives many compliments on it. ... show more

Beautiful sound and wonderful quality. I bought a used one and it was like it was taken out of the box and then returned. I even had to break in the strings, like it was brand new! I would recommend buying used to save money. My students were jealous and just loved it! (They only have brown ones because I have a class set for my music classes) ... show more
