Enter the correct password or remove the battery to exit the alarm mode. The gun cabinet is also equipped with a vibration alarm function, long press the ''#'' key for 5 seconds to turn on the vibration alarm function. The vibration alarm is automatically lifted after each correct unlocking and needs to be reset.

Easy to install and setup. The key pad takes passcodes between 4 and 8 numbers which is great for extra security. The hidden key backup is a nice feature too. I wish the small LED light that goes on when you open the door would stay on longer, but I understand that it doesn't want to burn through the 4 AAA batteries as the priority is the keypad lock. This is a simple, relatively light (50 pound) safe that has space for up to 4 small rifles/shotguns, but realistically you can fit 2 or maybe 3 in there.     • Not perfect, but good value for the money.

First, the pro's. The packaging is excellent. There's no way this could get damaged during shipping. The manufacturer did not go cheap on the packaging. 5 stars for this. For the price, the quality is excellent. It does the job. Not too heavy, and not too lightweight either. If this is all you can afford, you can't be disappointed. Now for the con's. To be honest, the numberic key pad where you enter the combination feels cheap to the touch. Also, it has a wheel around it which spins, like the old round combination locks, but there is no purpose for the spin. Have to wonder if that was an afterthought. Also, the battery cover is very thin, flimsy and easy to take off. Almost would fall of if you hit the safe hard enough. The little legs that keep the battery cover in place are so slim, it's just a matter of time until one of them breaks off. Second, the pistol pouch is too small for a full size 9mm pistol. And even if you manage to fit the pistol in the pouch, the butt may jam when you close the door. You may even permanently scratch or nick your gun. Third, this safe is almost too narrow for tactical rifles with full scopes and accesssories. Definitely too tight to store the rifle with the magazine on. If your rifle is simple and your pistols are small, you may be happy with this gun safe. As for me, I had to sell it and get a bigger one. Fortunately, the price on this thing is so low that I was able to quickly sell it for nearly what I paid for it. Having said all that, I still think this safe is a good value for the money. $160 with free shipping is not a lot of money to pay for a very functional rifle safe. It does seem sturdy. It's absolutely useless for storing ANY modern rifle or shotguns. Save your money . Unless you are storing old rifles with old style stocks this thing is not gonna work. I could store one rifle sideways but that's not what I need. Save your money.

Nicely packaged. No assembly. A nice light duty little firearm safe. It will keep young prying hands and eyes safe from my firearms. Be advised; long guns over 26” in barrel length WILL NOT FIT. My 28” O/U 20 guage to tall. Also, handgun shelf WILL NOT FIT full size handguns. My SW40 semi auto would not fit. The pistol holster built in door is weak but is holding Heritage Arms Rough Rider. Look this is cheap safe. Won’t protect from a professional thief prying it open nor from fire. However, it will work well for keeping firearms from being accessed by children. The lock works great. Easy to set up. It was worth the $200.00 I spent just to make grandma rest easy from worrying over grandkids getting into my fire arms. Some limited storage. Just know this well made to keep kids out of it. That’s all. ... show more
