We love this gun safe! I love that not only it is super lockdown where you have not only a key but also a keypad to get into it if you want, which makes me as a Mom feel really safe having guns in our house but also that anything expensive we were to put in there that it would be safe. This is a great safe. It works amazing. It even comes with an outside battery back up in case the batteries inside the safe die as well as two keys I like that the keyhole is hidden behind a plate so anyone just looking at it won’t realize that there is a secondary way to get into the safe, although I will emphasize that you will need to mount the safe to your wall or floor or like I did just a couple two by fours in order to keep it from falling forward as it is a bit unstable but perfect for my need ... show more

    • Trouble with electronic lock.
Electronics did not allow handle to release. I followed included instructions to open with the override key and change the default code and received the green light indicating a successful change, but the handle would not release. Tried multiple times. Inspector #16 may have fallen asleep on this one. I like the quality for the price. It included all items listed in the description. Will be perfect for where I plan to install it. Return was easy. Going to give them another try and reorder. Hopefully the next one works properly. ... show more

Good safe for the money. Not fire or flood resistant. Needs a solid, flat, surface or it will tip forward when the door is opened (front heavy). Inside shelf is too low for long barrel rifles and has to be removed for them to fit.
