We had been looking for a secure storage solution like this for a while, and this ended up being a great purchase. I’ll admit I was a little skeptical at first because of the price, but this definitely checked all the boxes once we had it in person. It feels very sturdy and well made, and the quality exceeded my expectations. My husband enjoys outdoor activities and had a few items that were previously stored safely, but now that we have young kids who are getting more curious and capable, we wanted an added layer of protection and peace of mind. I came across this safe and thought it would make a great Christmas gift for him. I did end up giving it to him a bit early, but that worked out just fine. The size is perfect for what we needed, and everything fits comfortably inside. I appreciate that it offers both an electronic combination option and a backup key. We still plan to secure it to the floor, but so far we’re extremely happy with the design and overall quality. It looks sleek, doesn’t take up unnecessary space, and does exactly what we needed it to do. I bought this safe to house my first firearm. I didn't need anything big like the expensive safes you find at sporting stores. This one looked like it would do the trick. Thinks I like: - The light on the side is helpful since I keep mine in the basement. When you open up the safe a light will turn on to help you see inside the safe (battery operated. 4 AA batteries) - Having a code has been extremely convenient. I keep the keys safely stored but can access the safe with a code. You can have 4-8 digit combinations I believe. I like that you can have a longer code to make it difficult/impossible for kids to open. - Adjustable supports! You can adjust the height of the guides within the safe to match the barrel length of your firearm - Included pistol holder. I don't have any yet, but I like that there are holsters included The bad: I just wish this was a little bit taller, I knew the height when I bought it, but just double check. IF you're going to have barrels longer than ~28" you may have you remove the top shelf for it to work. I had to do this. Overall, an incredible value for a sturdy safe with an electronic combination lock. This is a perfect starter safe, and everything it needs to do, it does well.

Decent safe. You must mount this to the wall or the floor. Opening the door tips the safe forward. The door comes off very easy to manage the safe contents. The internal light is decent, but not that great for seeing all contents inside. It comes with a set of keys and an emergency external battery if your electric combo batteries die and can't open it. Don't expect this safe to prevent someone with a saw with diamond tipped saw blades from cutting through this, it isn't Fort Knox but it will keep people from accessing your goodies.

It's not the biggest or heaviest gun safe on the planet but for what it is, if you have a couple rifles you need locked up, this thing is fantastic! Can fit 4 rifles comfortably and 2 hand guns in the door plus the shelf for ammo which can hold quite a bit. Overall fantastic safe!

What this is good at: 1. Keeping your firearms secure, so strangers + children don't access them. 2. Being affordable 3. Having an external backup battery pack to unlock the cabinet What you need to know: 1. Must be bolted to the floor. Else, 100% will tip off when front door is opened. Being 75lb ish, a grown man could carry it away, clumsily. 2. Not fire rated. Can probably be opened with an angle grinder -- not a true "safe" for sensitive documents / expensive jewelry. Installation Notes: 1. 6 holes on back, 4 on bottom. 4 bolts given. Was a minor pain measuring, aligning, and securing it to the wall. But very stable once set. 2. Front door can be lifted off once fully opened. Makes installing much easier. Setup Notes: 1. Takes 4 AA batteries (not included). One press of Red button on the side of the front door lets you set the password. Have to type it twice, with a pound after each one. 2. Default password is 1 2 3 4. Press Pound before and after the code to open. What I like about this 1. Very sturdy lock. You can see the rods extending when you turn 2. Comes with 2 keys and the external battery pack in case you lose the keys (but remember the code) 3. Plenty of room and spacers to put in 5 long guns. Was worried my gun with bipod + scope might take up 2 slots, but worked out (your mileage may vary). 4. The top shelf is easily removable, and can store up to 5 pistols with the included spacer. 5. Side panels on front door can store a few more pistols + magazine / other stuff. 6. Padding on bottom to prevent scratching the finish. Spacers fit well to prevent guns sliding around. 7. Well packaged for shipping -- 8 metal corners pad the shipment from the inside. Overall, happy with my purchase a the price point. The top shelf is fine with putting in some minor valuables and documents so you don't lose them, but I'd put those in a fire rated plastic box first.

As others have mentioned, this is not an actual safe-safe, it's a gun case. Actual safes are, as I'm sure you're aware, very expensive, very heavy, and could stand up to just about any attempts to open it you can throw at it. But if you aren't able to put a full safe somewhere in your home and just want something to keep things organized and secure from unwanted access, this will work great for you. Here's what I like: -Good size to tuck into a closet without taking up a huge amount of space -Listing pictures are actually pretty accurate depicting the size. Looks like they didn't photoshop stuff into the picture, that's really the size of the shelves and interior as shown with firearms. -Feels relatively sturdy -Adjustable inserts and a removable shelf (not adjustable; your choices are yes or no) -Carpeted walls/door -Easy to program the lock -Comes with a USB thing that you can use in the event the batteries run out while locked -Door opens 180 degrees. Seems like some similar products don't open this much -Additional storage shelves on door interior -Two pockets on the door interior for handguns Some things that aren't dealbreakers, but might help when considering this case: -The walls aren't super thick. I'd imagine it would stop your average home invader as I doubt they tend to bring an angle grinder with them. It also would probably stand up to a prybar as the bolts on the door are pretty sturdy, and it'll definitely keep kids or others out that you don't want getting access. -Not unanticipated, but maybe helpful info: it doesn't weigh all that much relatively speaking (neglected to weigh it myself after arrival, so I can't confirm the listing's claim to weight). Even with stuff in there I would think a somewhat strong individual or a couple of people could pick the thing up and haul it out, but that's why you bolt it to the wall. -Pockets on door are made of a kind of nylon or something like that. They feel like they're pretty solidly attached to the door so they still work just fine, but not as strong as I had hoped; they sag just a bit with a pistol in them. Again, they still work, I was just anticipating something a bit sturdier -Door re-locks after a few seconds even while it's still open, so if you didn't leave the handle in the open position you have to put the code in again to retract the bolts and close the door All in all, I'm happy with this purchase. Will it keep your guns totally safe from theft, fire, or other disaster? Probably not. But it will be safer than older gun display cases that maybe your dad or grandfather stored their firearms in, which are essentially china cabinets for guns with easily breakable glass. It does exactly what I want it to do, so overall I would recommend this if the above info sounds like it'll fit your needs. UPDATE: when I bought this I only had one rifle with a scope, and it was an older and smaller scope than more modern versions. I recently purchased a new rifle with a modern scope, and even though it's just a .22 it doesn't sit flush in the foam insert; the scope sits too high. The rifle still fits in the cabinet, but doesn't feel quite as secure as the older rifle. If you have more than one rifle with larger scopes this may not work for you, as you might even have to place them in there sideways. Again, still works ok for my needs, but something to keep in mind. UPDATE 2: I just added a 4th rifle, no optics, and it barely fits; I'm pretty sure it won't fit at all if/when I do put a scope on it. So I've changed my opinion and rating: if you only have 1 or 2 rifles with optics, this will still work. But if you've got even 3 with any optics, it's not going to be a good choice. I'm now looking for something deeper that will fit better, and will probably sell this one.

This large rifle cabinet really didn’t disappoint me—it makes excellent use of space. With just a few adjustments to the removable shelves, I was able to clear out enough room to store my hunting rifles with high-magnification scopes, and it doesn’t feel cramped at all. The pistol rack is ingeniously designed; my pistols of various models all fit securely into place, making them easy to spot and access. The ammunition storage area is also very spacious, easily accommodating boxes of all sizes. The LED lighting system that comes with this rifle cabinet is a total lifesaver! With my old cabinet, I had to hold a flashlight in one hand and operate the cabinet with the other whenever I wanted to check my guns or grab ammo—it was incredibly inconvenient. Now, the LED lighting provides even, soft illumination that’s not glaring but still lights up every corner. I specifically measured the thickness of the steel plates—the door panels are particularly sturdy, and when tapped, they produce a very dull sound; they’re definitely not made of thin sheet metal. The entire cabinet’s powder-coating finish is excellent—there’s no pungent odor, and the surface is smooth with no rough edges. Whether in terms of security or internal storage, it has met and even exceeded my expectations, truly providing gun owners with peace of mind and confidence.
