Awesome handgun safe. You have multiple options for how you store your guns in this. One option is store them standing straight up and ready to use but resting on a barrel rod. I’m all for firearm safety and preventing access for those that shouldn’t have access to the guns. However I also believe that if you have to grab your gun in the middle of the night from a sound sleep, that the trigger on the gun should be covered to help prevent a negligent discharge. If a noise startles you (and they can) your guns trigger should at least be covered momentarily until you can remove it from the safe. This is vital especially if your handgun doesn’t have an external safety and some of them do. The ease of setting the safe up is clearly explained and easy to follow. There’s not only printed instructions but you can also access a video to learn it if you aren’t sure. Build quality is SOLID and well designed. There is multiple ways to access the safe not only with a key but also a numerical code, multiple fingerprints, and even a phone app. Plus the phone app also lets you know the battery power level. Love that feature. This is a great buy and the safe is well made. Highly recommend.

I've had this safe for about 1.5 years already. Nice capacity. Fingerprint reader works great, very fast. I haven't replaced the batteries at all in the time I've had it, it still reads as full battery. No issues at all, I was expecting the fingerprint reader to be meh. But it works perfectly. Gonna buy another in the future. You get a lot for the price. My room is pretty humid sometimes, but there's no sign of rust or problems with the electronics. I mounted mine to the wall and it comes with a wall mount guide that makes drilling the holes accurately very easy to do.

Finger print reader works very well and scans fast. I also switched the safe to silent mode which was very simple to do. I ordered the largest version of this safe and it houses six micro pistols very easily. I drilled two additional holes above the pre drilled ones for additional sturdiness as I hung mine onto a wall. Would have been nice if these holes were already drilled out. I also downloaded the app and pleased with it as well. Direction are very good in all explanations needed in my opinion. Keep in mind it’s a locking storage box…not a safe. For what it is I think it’s excellent and would buy again.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The more I've used this safe, the more I appreciate how well it's made. The biometric fingerprint reader is terrific and fast, and very easy to set up with fingerprints as well as the keycode. Unlike most safes that give you a series of beeps to interpret, this one has a female voice that steps you through the process, telling you how to access the menus and responding to your input. When it's finalyl set up, and you unlock the door, her voice will say "Welcome." To which I always add, "... professor" because she sounds like Cerebro from the X-Men films. The safe is very well protected and self-illuminated once you open the door. A shelf on the top gives room for secondary items, while the main level has multiple pins (removable) for about four pistols, or a stack of important paperwork or valuables. If your pistols have a red-dot sight at the top, there isn't enough room to keep them upright. You'll tilt them at an angle to make them fit, which isn't awful, but a larger model may be better. I don't believe the safe is fireproof, but it is absolutely solid. You might want to anchor it to your floor to prevent theft... I have it on my nightstand and the smallest one is quite large for the space, but it does work. However, there's no mistaking that this is a safe and not some fancy nightstand clock. Overall-- excellent safe. Would buy again.

As far as gun safes go, this one is pretty good. There are multiple ways of accessing the contents of the safe, from biometrics to pins and keys. Of course the fingerprint scanner could be better, but at this price point, you can't ask for much better. If it fails to scan the first time, it normally works on the second round. It feels premium for a small amount of money. The only negative thing I will say about the safe is that the front door feels like it could easily be pried open with the right tool. It has a little "play" to it, so I could fit a small pry bar in there. Otherwise, it seems extremely sturdy.

This safe is a great size if you have a few pistols that you want to keep safe but need quick access to. The fingerprint reader and number keys provide the quickest access followed by the app and then the key. As far as customer service - the safe I received was having some issues with the fingerprint reader - and I contacted support. Their response was quick - providing troubleshooting tips, and when those didn't work, they replaced the safe in one day. I also have their B1 safe that has the same 4 ways to open, and it works flawlessly. Highly recommended.
