This is hands down the best roadside emergency tool I've owned. The 8000A jump starter effortlessly revives dead batteries in seconds, and the 160PSI air compressor makes fixing low tire pressure incredibly easy. I love the digital screen that lets me preset the exact PSI I need so it shuts off automatically. It also functions as a massive power bank to charge phones. it holds its charge well. The built-in torch light is bright and perfect for nighttime emergencies. I liked the well-protected cables —the heavy insulation ensures users don't get an accidental shock while handling them. I bought this unit mainly for the air pump feature to top off the air in my lawn equipment tires and maybe for the tires on my 08 RAM 5.7 HEMI truck. I currently have a 6 gallon "pancake" compressor that I had been using, but, it was a biatch to carry around to fill the tires of my gear. Before mowing with my CubCadet 46" LT-1 lawn tractor, I noticed the tires were not fully inflated as sitting over the winter they did lose some air. This very portable unit made filling these tires easy peasy with a quick connect/disconnect on each tire. Inflation time for the tires was less than 15 seconds to top off each tire. The best aspect of this air pump is being able to set a fill pressure, that when reached, the unit turns off automatically. Also, after mowing, my tractor has a hard time turning over/starting when hot and the battery jump function worked great. With this unit connected to the tractor battery, it spun over like a top and started instantly. I wanted to test how it performed when connected to my 5.7 HEMI engine and as the truck does start without any problem with its own battery, I wanted to measure the minimum crank voltage without and with the jump box connected, see pix. From my home testing, this unit will serve its purpose in a "light duty" mode of operation and for the occasional use of the air pump and the jump starting capability, it does a very good job without costing a ton of money. The feature I actually use the most is the tire inflator, which saved me trips to the gas station by letting me simply preset my target pressure and wait while it quickly filled my tires to the exact auto-shutoff point. Beyond the garage, it proved invaluable on a recent camping trip where the fast-charge USB ports kept two smartphones fully powered, and the super-bright emergency LED flashlight made navigating the dark campsite a breeze. The clear LCD screen removes all guesswork by showing precise battery levels and tire pressures, and the included EVA carrying case keeps the unit, jumper cables, and air nozzles perfectly organized. There are multiple inflating needles for like basketball and my airbed. It's lightweight and small so I can carry it in my car always. I have used it for at lease twice and haven't charged it yet, so durability is good to me. I'll try the jump starter function in the winter when my car is dead in battery and hope it works then.
