This thing is a beast and it is incredibly well designed and built. The issue I ran into is that I have a huge phone. I have the note 20 ultra and a case. It only fits if I squeeze a corner in and it sits diagonally. I was on mobility scooter so that was fine for my use, but I wouldn't recommend it for a big phones if you're putting this on something like a regular bike or motorcycle.

At first I was turned off at how bulky this unit is UNTIL I tried on my bike. Everything about this mount seems oversized from the clamp to the phone mount. However, now I see the beauty in this design. The clamp has a lightly spring loaded mechanism with a screw vise tightener. Installing and removing this clamp (and phone mount) seems too easy and fast. Yet the clamp seems to really tighten down securely. The phone mount has a spring system with huge corner frames that will easily accommodate larger oversized cases such as “Otterbox” style. Surprisingly, the spring system holds the phone securely once placed inside. However, if going over rough terrain, bumpy roads, or off-roading, there is a red safety lock that can be flipped to prevent the phone mount from opening. I really like this system and feel I can trust it hold my phone better than most other mounts I’ve tried. Thanks for reading and hope this helps.

Ok so I recently tried out this JOYROOM Motorcycle Phone Mount (Big Clip), the 2024 upgraded version with a metal tie rod and 1-second auto lock feature… yeah this one… well the product impresses me with its quality, combining durable plastic and metal, and its mindful design of simplicity. Installing it was very straightforward but I had to put a TWIST on it…literally…. so yeah I definitely skipped the instructions if your wondering. The ball joint with a hinged mechanism allows easy adjustment onto my lawn mower and the friction-based screw mechanism makes attaching the phone cradle super quick. The phone cradle has a central button that securely locks the phone in place once the phone is pushed into it, and an additional lever at the back adds an extra layer of security to ensure its locked in. This design ensures my phone stays put, even on bumpy rides along the lawn. It fits my iPhone 14 Pro Max perfectly, keeping it visible and stable. Figuring out the knob and plastic nut positioning took some effort to setup properly on my mower but once I got it right, the mount performed exceptionally well. Its grip on my phone is solid, and I’m confident it will hold up over time. The mount suits my needs perfectly, fitting nicely on the handle bar… I like how it protects all four corners of the phone, offering more stability than strap-based mounts. The sturdiness of this mount stands out, and it’s definitely the best one I’ve come across. It’s a bit heavier, which adds to its durability and makes it ideal for what I did. In addition to its solid build, the mount's non-slip, padded handlebar clamp is adjustable to fit a wide range of bar widths, thanks to the large winged plastic nut. This allows for easy customization of swivel tension. While it costs a little more than other mounts, the quality justifies the price. After comparing several mounts, this one clearly stands out to me. It’s reliable, easy to operate with one hand… Anyone needing a sturdy, dependable phone mount for their setup take this one into consideration.
