This elliptical machine is fantastic. There was a lot of assembly required, but the directions were very clear and easy to understand. There are 10 levels of resistance which are eat to switch between. The elliptical is very comfortable to use and does not hurt my knees like a treadmill does. Assembly definitely took some time. I wouldn't say it was difficult, just time consuming. Overall, it's a really good compact elliptical for a casual workout in your home. The only thing electrical on it is the battery powered display which provides basic information. So it's easy to set it up anywhere you want because it doesn't require an outlet. The trade off is it doesn't come with some of the nice preset workouts like interval training that come with other ellipticals. Changing the resistance on this machine is extremely easy though! the rotation range feels small because of the size but I get a sweat going everytime I use this thing. It's incredibly quiet. It was virtually silent at first but after a few weeks of use it starts making some squeeking noises sometimes. It's still really quiet though. The phone holder is a nice addition but it's kinda cheap and a little pressure on it caused it to break. ... show more

It's a small version of the elliptical machine you typically see at the gym. It's a good size for home use as it doesn't take as much space. It was a pain in the rear to put together and while the instructions were MOSTLY written well, I did find some errors in the labeling on the parts, though it doesn't take a genius to figure out what is what. I really appreciate that they separated the screws by step number in the guide, to prevent more confusion because there were just so many different type of screws. So I would say it's simple but you have to follow the guide. It took a very long time to assemble - 3 people about 100 minutes or so. Still it's worth it having your own machine at home to use! It has a resistance wheel in the center. Putting it a strong resistance definitely was definitely a strong tiring workout. The computer sits at the center and is helpful for tracking the activity metrics. The handles also come with a sensor for reading your BPM so that's pretty cool like the gym machines. ... show more

This elliptical machine came packed in a fairly small box and required complete assembly. It was a bit tedious with lots of parts and washers, but the part assortment was labeled for each step which was helpful. The instructions could have been a bit simpler. After it is assembled, it runs nice and smoothly. It also has a cell phone holder on top of the display, so you can watch something while exercising. This is a very basic machine with manual resistance settings and a very basic display. The screen displays the distance, your heart rate, and calories burned. The instructions say there is an app, but this machine doesn’t come with Bluetooth to connect to the app. You can manually input your data for tracking, but it won’t connect because this model doesn’t have that capability. The app does show you scenery while you exercise if you like, but we’ll just stream videos from the phone instead. The machine does the basics as advertised – it is an elliptical and it works. It is a little bit wobbly, though, which may be because I need to lose some weight – thus the elliptical. ... show more

    • Basic Machine, but gets the job done
If you're looking for a fancy elliptical like you would see at the gym, this is definitely not the machine for you. However, if you're looking for a no-frills machine that gets the job done, this is a decent machine for what it is. The assembly itself took a little over an hour, and we were missing a few pieces, which was luckily just a few screws for a cosmetic piece, so we were able to replace with something that we already had on hand. However, it would be nice if this included extras, just in case they missed a screw or two during QC. Once setup, we had to move it to our "workout room" and the movement itself was quite easy as it's indicated in the description. There are 2 wheels on the front, so it helps glide the machine easily across different surfaces (we went from carpet to hard wood). I'm not sure if it's because of the wheels on the front, or the machine itself, but the machine does wobble quite a bit when you are actually using it (especially the faster you go). It's a little worrisome, as it would be nice if it's a little more stable, as I do feel like I sometimes have to slow my workout a bit, so that is something to be cognitive of when looking to purchase this. Another issue to be aware of is that because of the compactness of the machine, the arms are quite narrow, so when you are using the machine, your arms sit closer together than they naturally would, which makes it a little awkard. However, the BIGGEST drawback in my opinion is the location of the resistence settings. For some reason, the decided to place the mechanism/button to change resisetence levels near your feet! Every machine I have ever used has it placed on the computer port itself, but because this is more of a manual machine, you have to either change with your feet while in motion, or have to stop to bend down and manually move up/down. All-in-all, you do still get a workout when using this, and it is quite compact so it doesn't take up a lot of space, so it's a decent machine for a home gym. However, there are several drawbacks to be aware of that I'm not sure if other machines in this price range have. ... show more
