This is my favorite paddle and I can get all my shots in with perfect control and speed. I'm a petite person and don't have the large wingspan, I rely on positioning and placement to play well. Ever since I have switched from elongated to square paddle, I never go back. I have two Scorpeus 3s and now the 4th gen is absolutely amazing. So much pop and same amount of control. I've gone through many different brands and styles of paddles. Started with the typical cheapy ones from amazon and walmart and then tried the engage, selkirk, crbn and other joola styles. Always end up coming back to joola due to its playing consistency. And now the pro 4 is even better. My drives that ordinarily hit the net, are now going over and my shots are now landing where I intended to land them. It's a little poppier than I'm used to for dinks so I have to adjust my game at the net but other than that, it's an excellent paddle. ... show more

This is an excellent pickleball paddle that seems to have thought of everything. It is beautiful to play with. You can feel the quality in the lightweight design and the power and control of the paddle. I cannot say anything but bad about it. The only reason I took off one store is that I personally can't really say it's a great value, as this price point is so incredibly high. I've tested out a number of paddles, but the one I have ended up liking the best was about $100 and feels just as good as this one. I really cannot tell much of a difference between the two, and with that said, I can't really justify spending nearly 3x as much money for such similar quality. That is a personal decision, and certainly, there are people out there who do not need to worry about the money and can justify that for themselves. The only other thing that I've found to be a personal preference is a 5.5" handle length vs this 5". I have pretty small hands, even for a woman, but I do feel like I can get better control and power by being able to adjust my hold a bit more based on my swing, so that is something else I would prefer over this, though again, this is an excellent paddle. One other benefit of this paddle over others is that other pickleballers who are in the know show some immediate respect when you bring this out onto the court. It gives you a nice/slight edge of intimidating people a bit, or, just looking rich and fancy if nothing else, but you will definitely be taken seriously, so make sure your game is ready for you to step up to those expectations! ... show more
