There weren't many analog clocks to choose from that had a square frame, but with round clock face. This one did with ease of reading the round face, but square frame to match decor where it was to be hung was important to me. Therefore, I purchased this clock. However i do think the price was higher than average for the value of clock. There is nothing truly notable or remarkable about its quality to make me feel like the price is justified.
