Good product with minimal tool knowledge to install...

Extremely easy to install. Simply cut sheetrock out to size and frame above the sheetrock with 2x4. It is a little easier to use joist along one side for rigidity. Well made. I have never had any issues with these access doors.

Clean and Ready to Install
Style: Screwdriver Latch
The panel came completely wrapped and protected. Opened it and not one scratch. The mounting hardware is solid and can easily be tied back to studs instead of some where the mounting is only on the sheetrock. Got the rough dimensions and easily framed for it. Seals well and and easily be opened. Works perfectly ... show more

Nice product for the price

Heavy duty- we used as a jetted tub pump access panel. Way better than the plastic ones- for about the same cost

Great product

After we finished our attic remodel, my wife wanted to put access doors on the North & South side of the attic so that those eaves could be accessible. I found this product, ordered two of them, and have been quite impressed. The door was easy to install, is easy to operate, and is built with quality in mind. If I need more access doors (getting ready to build a shop) I know the product that I will be using. ... show more

Dimensions mentioned are correct. Very simple and serves its purpose. Main problem is that 2 out of the three that I had ordered had one bent hinge pin. This is only a problem if you open and close the door. The bent pin scratches at the surface of the door.
