Features

  • UNIQUE DESIGN: Strips 26-36 AWG wires using its uniquely designed stripping mechanism
  • ADJUSTABLE STOP: Allows the operator to strip wire at specific lengths from 0.039" to 2.0" long
  • HARDENED STEEL BLADE: Cuts through most types of wire insulation with great precision and ease
  • LIGHTWEIGHT: Compact design weighs only 1 oz and measures 3.9" long

Description

These Precision Wire Strippers feature an adjustment dial that allows the operator to select one of six different settings. A calibrated wire stop can then be adjusted for the desired insulation strip length. In a single motion, the operator squeezes and pulls the tool. This action engages four specially hardened blades to cleanly cut the wire insulation while the pulling motion breaks the insulation/conductor bond. Adjustable to six wire gauges: 26-36 AWG. Measures 3.9' length by 1.6" height by 0.6' thickness.

  • Best tool hands down!
Style: 20 to 30 AWG
Durable, easy to use, works amazing, saves time and frustration, best stripper ever used, super accurate, wide range of sizes you can use it on,

  • An ergonomic fine-gauge wire cutter
Style: 26-36 AWG
Wow, if only I had found these sooner.... I wouldn't have calluses from side cutters. Tape the depth block down if you don't want it to move. Works great for repeat cuts of fine insulated wire. In my case, it was 30ga silicone stranded wire.
Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2025 by Worked for 10 days, then suddenly no longer sees USB devices. The switches light up, switch on/off, but no data passes through or USB charging.

  • Best Precision Strippers I Have Tried
Style: 26-36 AWG
This is the best precision wire stripper I have used. I can carelessly strip 34 gauge conductors with really fine outer wall thickness diameters without any damage to the conductors and clean cuts on the insulator. It is likewise effective in removing smaller jackets from multi-conductor cables with such conductors in them. It is also a pretty easy tool to learn to use. Also, as a sign of high quality, I can easily feed a 34 gauge wire here with it set for 30 awg and it passes right through with only light scraping along the insulator; it is really amazingly precise vs other stripping methods. My only qualm is it feels/looks much cheaper and lower quality than it is; at first when I saw this style of stripper, I thought it was a piece of junk I had been duped into buying. Quite wrong. Jonard could benefit from a designer. ... show more

  • Expensive, but worth it
Style: 18 to 28 AWG
I restore a lot of old electronic equipment. These are a game changer. Easy on the hands when you have to strip hundreds of wires. Works as well on cloth covered wire or fiberglass woven heat shield as it does on silicon and crappy pvc insulation. Easy to adjust, and you don't make mistakes. The length guide needs more friction or some indexing, so I don't really use that part. Best bit of gear in my field kit. Love them. ... show more

  • Pretty good but...
Style: 26-36 AWG
The strippers on the right were purchased in the early eighties and were fantastic. But they are no longer available and the blades a quite worn. I can't even identify them because the foil label has rubbed clean. The method on the left is what I have been using for years and although it's a bit awkward to use can outperform any wire stripper. I've stripped some fairly fine headphone/earbud wires with very few strands without loosing strands. These strippers are nice but I still find myself using the flat plyers with a razor blade most of the time. ... show more

  • overpriced garbage.
Style: 18 to 28 AWG
I have done a lot of stripping, tried a lot of methods, this one is no good... Blades come pre-dulled. Gauge markers do not remotely correspond to the actual gauge. Once you find something close to your needed gauge, it still nicks the wire. Even remotely thick 22awg wire insulation will not fit through the hole. Seems to work fine for 24-28 awg, but there are cheaper alternatives that work much better. I can see how this style would be ergonomic for some people, but it's probably worth spending the extra $ for a better version. ... show more

One of a kind. If you need this tool you know. Have used two or three of these for years. Nothing else comes close!

  • Very effective, consistent strips
Style: 26-36 AWG
This this is awesome - I wish I had been aware of these for higher gauge wire sooner.
