These worked well for the project that we had. You might want a jack holder/punch down holder if you are punching the jacks down and then plugging them in the panel. It is a tight fit when inserting a bunch of them in a close area. But, they work well.

I like the fact that the jacks are held firmly in place, I've have encountered other brands where the jacks practically drop back when the patch cable is inserted but I don't think that will happen with these jacks and patch panel.

The real star of this patch panel kit are the keystone jacks. They are the type that allows you to terminate the cable either straight out the back or at a 90 degree angle. The clip on retainer has options for both. Although, when using in keystone patch panel with strain relief like this kit, you'll almost certainly want to terminate straight out the back. The retaining clip snaps on firmly and won't pop off like with some other keystone jacks. CAT6 cable terminates correctly and is very firmly held in place due to the slight angle the terminals are at. The patch panel itself is a standard keystone panel so you can use and keystone jacks with it. This is the type of panel where the jacks snap in flush with the panel itself. The keystone part of the panel is plastic but it is a quality plastic. So that's no concern for me. The frame of the panel and the strain relief bracket are metal. Rack screws are included along with the snap in square bolt type. The strain relief bracket simply notches in to slots on the back of the panel. No tools or screws needed. They've included zip ties for securing each cable to the strain relief. The port labels are removable so you can add your own info as needed. All in all, I'm very happy with this kit. The quality of the included keystones is what sets it apart from other similar priced patch panels.

If you want to clean up your home networking Ethernet cables, this is the patch panel solution that will make the greatest impact in your cable management project. I had a hodge podge of cables coming from all over the house and my labeling was putrid. I felt it was time to solve my disorganized Ethernet cable mess by having my cables mirror the beautiful professional custom cabling setups you see in very neat and organized network switch rooms. I picked this specific patch panel because of the ability to label my cable access by circuit number. I'm labeling the individual network channels and inserting them into a mapped cable map, so I can have any member of the houshold to be able to easily identify the cable location and be able to conduct simple troubleshooting if I'm not home and also a reference for me to identify IOT switch and POE access in case I have to reroute a circuit when it's necessary. I also love the fact this patch panel comes with a complete set of pop-in CAT6 Keystone Jacks. I began to punch the wires into the Keystone prior to inserting them into the patch panel. Go get this panel, especially if you are seriously interested in making your home structured network cabling organized and more manageable.
