This says will strip 1”. This does not strip 1”. The plates go up to .98. Some may not need this or care, but this review is for people who do. All others it works great. And gave 4 stars cause if you remove the guide plates and raise blade all the way up you can get the 1” cut. Just gets a bit crazy with no guide plate. ... show more

Feels very sturdy. It is such a time saver! You can run wire through it and pull off the insulation at the same time. Just make sure you don’t have the blade too low or you’ll have tiny wire pieces everywhere.

It’s complete garbage. Worked the first 20 minutes then it went to hell. Took it apart to tighten things up if needed but the bottom wheels won’t grab on the drive shaft. Horrible POS
