I love this hair color because with foam it is less messy. I’ve used others that weren’t foam and no matter how careful I tried to be I always ended up with hair color in the bathroom sink, tub AND floor. Don’t know how that happened. 😂 This brand is very affordable. It easy to mix because you only have to tilt NOT shake the bottle 5 times and it’s ready to go. Also I feel like you don’t have to use as much product. I always have leftover color. My natural is a dark brown but lately been getting a lot of stubborn gray hair around the temple and neck area. No matter what brand I use I leave the color on longer than what the instructions say because my gray hairs are ruthless. This is great. I want to say, you need to be a little patient and wait for 1-2weeks to see the actual result. Don’t judge immediately after using it, thinking that it turned out super dark. I’m East Asian with originally black hair. I have long hair. I’ve lightened my hair color for more than a decade every 3-6 months, and my hair started looking unevenly lightened as if I have some highlights. And I had about 3 inch dark roots. I wanted to tone it down, so used this hoping to see nice gentle warm brown. I got the medium chestnut brown one. Right after I finished dying my hair, I was worried if it turned out super black, and immediately thought this was probably not a good choice… But after a week or two, it gradually faded away nicely that now my hair is true chestnut medium brown. Would love to submit before and after pictures but she wouldn't let me take any!! I love her silver streaks but it's not about me! Happy wife happy life!! The product was so very easy to use as I got to be the lucky guy volunteered to help!! Maybe next time it could come with ear and neck protection because apparently dark chocolate brown ears and neck are not the end goal! Especially on a pale white wifey!! She's happy now it all washed off and Her hair is so beautiful!! Would definitely recommend.....hearing protection may also be good for the helper! ... show more

My hair length is about 3-4 inches below the shoulder and the product amount was just enough. I could not get the product to foam on my head no matter how much I massaged, but the good thing is that there is no dripping on the face and the floor, so everything is under control. I have ~10%-20% white hair, and I think the coverage for white hair is OK after leaving it on for 30 min as instructed, need some more time to see how long it will fade. Remember to rub Vaseline on the face, ears, and hairline at the back (even the chest, shoulders, and forearms if they are not clothed) before applying the product to prevent staining. ... show more

I really don’t think this was going to do as well as it has. aI definitely will be getting this again. I usually use 2 boxed of the hair dye at the store but this you only need 1 box. my hair is a little on the think side and is just below my shoulders. Best part is there is no drip to worry about getting on your floors, walls or countertops. Also washes out immediately ... show more
