When I first painstakingly cut, peeled, sprayed and applied this film to the six small windows in my front door, I was pleased with the pretty results and hoped they would stay put. Three fell out by the next day. I puzzled over my process and realized: You MUST PUT THE SLICK SHINY SIDE AGAINST YOUR GLASS. I know you want that slick shiny side to face you because it's so glossy and pleasing, but *that* is the side that will properly cling to the glass when you spray water and smooth out all the bubbles. Now that I've corrected my process, those films are staying exactly where I put them. PS: Don't forget to peel the clear protective film off before you apply. And be generous with the water you spray. Have a towel ready to dab up the water you squeeze to the bottom and sides. I would definitely buy these lovely films again. I've done my fair share of window film installation. This is, BY FAR, the cheapest garbage I've ever seen. First off, it's rubbery, not the typical ridgid window film. I have three different blades, one of which is a thin, double edged carpet knife that will cut most anything with precision. Every blade used ended up grabbing this rubbery junk film off the glass, gouging the edges. It took two different types of tape on both sides to separate them for application because nothing would stick to the matted side. Laslty, I cleaned the glass thoroughly and it would not stick to the glass. This was a waste of money and a sure way to tarnish what was supposed to be an enjoyable Saturday. ... show more

Bought this cling for the color and pattern, and the price was fair. Ended up only covering one of my bedroom windows, so I ordered a second roll to cover the other window and match. When I went to put it up, I had a very hard time separating the cling from the plastic film; I actually put it up with the film on at first because I couldn't separate it, but it didn't want to stick to the glass, so I had to keep trying to find a way to peel it off until I could. Instructions are not very clear if you are unfamiliar with this product. The clings provide good privacy, but the film my friend has in her bathroom makes iridescent rainbows in the sunlight that shines through, like stained glass, but these don't. The pretty part also goes on facing the window, so your neighbors enjoy the pattern and the colors more than you. When I replace them down the line, I will not buy this type again. ... show more

I bought this item hoping to use it to finish my miniature terrain pieces (40k Battle Sisters themed sanctuary ruins) and to simulate stained glass windows. Part of what I liked about this specific product was the smaller/tighter designs so that it still looked like stained glass windows all the way down to the 32mm scale that it was to represent. With that said, I happened to also have a thin window in my dining room that was just a foot over floor height that always left our home a bit more "exposed" than I wanted (city home) and used a section of this for that window, and it instantly made the window private, but retained it's ability to light in to the room, and it was such a wonderful "bonus" given why I bought the item in the first place. So while this review was more about why I specifically bought it, the products real intent was to be used in a window, and since I have since done that with the extra I still had leftover, I can assert that as long as the design fits your desire, you will be satisfied with its results. The only thing one might be inclined to complain about is installation, but only if you neglect to acknowledge that there is a protective clear sheet that needs to be removed before attempting to apply it to a window, and starting the removal of this film can be frustrating until you figure out a method that works for you, but once that is accomplished, installation becomes an easy process, and instantly transformative! I plan to get more, and different designs as I have a few more windows I would like to "obscure" with something prettier than what is visible out of them.... while retaining much of the natural light that comes in through them! ... show more

This looks great from outside. I thought it may show up almost like Stained glass inside on the floor, if the sun shown in, but it keeps shades the sun and keeps it out. I threw a shade over it as well so you can’t see the whole strip. Make sure you squeegee all the water out so you won’t have any bubbles. I used a pan scraper to get all the bubbles out. Just make sure it’s nice and wet when you apply it. ... show more
