The Dwersty Rainbow Window Privacy Film is lovely and easy to install. The directions are fun and friendly. It is easy to cut out the film following the grid (see note below!) with regular scissors. And it's easy to trim the cut-out with the provided razor blade using the squeegee things as a straightedge. It's kind of a pain to get the backing off, but that's as normal issue with stuff like this. I found that gently scratching a corner with the razor blade makes it much easier to pull off. One important noticing is that the printed grid on the backing is NOT squares. I made the mistake of measuring some smaller window panes using what I thought were squares, and then cutting one rectangle out horizontally and another vertically. When I compared them, one was clearly longer and skinnier. I think each unit on the grid is a bit less than an inch horizontally and a bit more than an inch vertically. Once installed, the film looks beautiful and professional even when the sun isn't shining through. Once dry, it seems to stay put without any issues.

Looks good and definitely obscures view from outside during the day. The film is pretty dark but still easy to see through in the daytime but is quite dark at night. Installation is a bit fiddly at first but is easy to get the hang of, make sure to use plenty of water as the extra water makes everything much easier. The included knife is terrible but they are giving it to you for free so I don't expect much anyway, but the squeegee tool works well. I purchased this because my cats like to look outside and I don't like everyone walking by to be able to see right in my home, this works great for privacy during the day but the cats can still see out. It seems to stick well and hold also. I believe it does help keep heat from the sun out to some extent, more than I expected actually. I've only had it up for a week and a half so I don't know about durability yet. For the price give it a try if you are having glare issues or just want more privacy during the day without having to close your curtains or blinds.

Cutting was easy because of the grid. I used water with a few drops of soap. There was a small amount i used the blade on at the bottom and tiny spot at the top. Squeegee was so handy and I used a cloth to work out bubbles. Looks great and was easy. Backing was easy to pull off too. I won't know until tomorrow about blocking heat.

Works great, 4 stars because, it is hard to separate the back from the front, I tried the tape , that didn't work. I run my finger nail over back got it separated , it comes with the tools to install . CHECK INSIDE THE TUBE. Easy to apply to your window . Comes with a cutter if your measurement wasn't quite right. Squeegee works great to remove soapy water from under the film. Keeps the sun from heating up the inside of your house. Which is a big help for my air conditioners.

Just applied my first piece on my lower window, top half is next (split window, not one solid pane). I watched youtube videos to get some tips on the best way to apply it first and it went well. Comparing the bottom to the top half which I'm doing next, it definitely makes a big difference and will surely reduce the heat in my office from the hot Florida sun. Do this before starting this project...buy yourself a good exacto knife to trim the film edges once you have it applied, the one that is included is awful and fell apart in my hands before I could even use it. I managed to piece it back together and made it work the best I could but the edges I cut aren't perfect because of struggling with the cheap knife. This window is always covered with blinds though so the minor imperfections on the edges will never be seen so I'm okay with that as long as the film is decent quality and so far it seems pretty good. Before continuing on the next half tomorrow I'm going out to get a good exacto knife though, the included one is in the trash. The film looks good, as I perfect the application process I will do the windows in the living areas as well which will need precise cuts and edges because I'm a perfectionist lol. For the price I'm happy so far and the included instructions are intentionally comedic and hilarious which is a nice touch! If the rest of this window comes out great I'll definitely be purchasing more. Attached pic is from the outside of the house with the bottom half done for reference.

I wasn't sure how this was going to turn out but was looking for something for my daughters windows. It was actually super easy to put up, and my daughter loves the colors and everything from the sun. I covered both her windows. I definitely would buy again!! Also we have no bubbles, great quality haven't touched it since it went up and it is still holding great! Sticks to the windows perfectly!
