These are 100% in what most Americans would consider children’s sizing. They have vivid coloring and good stretch. Pics were taken after some shrinking from being washed and dried and then being worn all day. These were exactly what I was looking for as under layers or tanks to layer with each other in the summer. They are thin, but not see through. All (with the possible exception of the white one) are opaque enough that I would feel comfortable wearing one without another layer. The sizing is absolutely ridiculous. I (the green tank pic) am generally a size 6/8, 5’8”, 145 pounds, 29” waist, and 38” bust and got the XXL. I would not be okay with the XL. My mom (the black tank) is a very thin person, maybe 5’4” and 110 pounds size 2/4 and I ordered her the XL and they fit her great. The XXL would have fit her, other than the arm holes being slightly too big and not lying flush to her skin. In general, they are a great set if you are buying for a child or smaller sized teen or adult and are okay with thin cotton material than may shrink slightly in the wash. Id say the XXL are about equivalent to an adult M/L, and the XL are equivalent to an adult M. ... show more

Definitely 100% cotton, runs small. Size large is probably more like a small/medium and they will shrink. Short so that it would be more like a midriff shirt if you get it too small. I can easily get away with a large in women's regular ribbed tanks and this large was way too small. Extra Large fits and is long enough to tuck in to your pants (JUST long enough) but they will shrink and have the same problems as the large with small armholes and a high neck.. They are thin and see through to a point, I like to wear them as undershirts and these are just not good for layering. Armholes are too small and the neckline is high. If you are a larger person, don't buy these. I first bought the large size and although i could get them on, they were uncomfortable. Then i got the XL which fit better but i imagine they wont hold up. When stretched they will not hold shape and become loose and annoying. I think they will be a "wear and wash once" for me before i end up giving them away. If your are smaller, or a kid then these should be okay in a size or two larger - remember, they run very small. And they shrink if you put them in the dryer. And the colrs were very nice - i was disappointed because I really liked the color selection. If the has a tad bit of nylon for stretch bounceback and were a bit longer in length, appropriate sized arm and neck holes, then they would work. They need to redesign from scratch - these things are a mess! I will update after I wear them and then launder them to see how it goes. Dang, the colors are so nice! ... show more

I love the assortment of bright colors that came in this set of tank tops! So bright and cheerful! The tank tops are very comfortable and are made well but I am a bit disappointed in the over all fit as they do seem to run a bit smaller. I read previous reviews before I made the decision to buy and followed the advice given and bought one size up from my normal size. They fit well but are kind of short and I prefer tank tops I wear for layering purposes to be long enough to stay tucked in and not expose my back so much. I would probably buy these again just because of the variety of colors offered. I got all the colors shown in the photo and am happy with my purchase overall. ... show more

im an xsmall, and ordered a small. before washing them, they were a middrift undershirt at best. after wash, they just cover my bra, but the bottom is very lose and the the top fits small. so maybe i could wear it hiking or something. that being said, the colors are beautiful, and the fabric is nice, so i just use them to sleep in and it works for me. but i wouldnt order them for actual use as a tank. thats not what ur gonna get. ... show more

I am 5’5” and weigh 125 lbs. I bought small. These are great overall. They are stretch and comfortable. I think they might be a little bit shorter in length than pictured, but I actually like it better.

I originally ordered a large and they fit okay, but I defiantly prefer my tanks to not be skin tight and a little longer. I don’t wear them under anything I wear them on it’s own. After one wash it shrunk quite a bit. But I ended up going back an ordering an XL and I am happy. Mind you I’m normally a small sometimes medium. They run about two sizes to small so defiantly size up for a better fit! But I love the colors and with the right size I have no complaints ... show more
